bumGenius Mini Wet Bag

What is a wet bag?

Wet bags are an important accessory for cloth diapering. They are used to store dirty diapers or to keep clean diapers separate from soiled. Our bumGenius Outing Wet Bags are washable, leak-resistant bags with zipper closures. Each bag holds 3-5 cloth diapers.

If you plan to cloth diaper outside of the home, you will need a wet bag to store soiled diapers. At home, you can choose to use a diaper pail or a large wet bag, like a Planet Wise Hanging Wet/Dry Bag. These larger sized wet bags can hold about 20-24 cloth diapers. Plus, they have a separate zippered compartment to keep clean diapers dry. I keep one in my bathroom to free up floor space.

If your daycare requires individual bags for diapers, a bumGenius Mini Wet Bag may be a good solution. It’s big enough for 1 cloth diaper. It can also be used for wipes or anything you want to keep organized. It can even be used as a reusable snack bag.

More Than Diapers

Besides cloth diapers, wet bags are great for transporting wet swimsuits or dirty clothes. They can also be used to store an extra set of clothes for your kiddo in the car. Other uses include shoe storage, potty training, cosmetics, gym bags, and so on.

As a pumping mom, I store my breast pump parts in a wet bag in the refrigerator between pumps. It saves time so I don’t have to wash them after every pumping session. Plus, a wet bag provides some privacy for what’s inside. And it’s better than throwing a plastic bag away each day!

Express Yourself

There are tons of designs, styles, shapes and sizes. Choose one that suits you! Plus, most of our Genius Series prints are made as wet bags, so you can keep collecting your favorite prints even after you’re finished cloth diapering.
