If you’re looking to save a few bucks, try something new, or get your hands on those hard-to-find items, BST groups can be a great resource. But, if you’re new to the BST world, it can get a bit murky.

From the unspoken rules to the typical listing jargon, we’re here to help you navigate through the ins and outs of BST’ing. Below are some of the common terms you will see in a BST post.

BST = Buy, Sell, Trade

PPD = Postage Paid

FTO = For Trade Only

FSOT = For Sale or Trade

MMARO/MMRO = Make Me a Reasonable Offer

ISO = In Search of

DISO = Desperately in Search of

PP = PayPal Ready

OOAK = One of a Kind

HTF = Hard to Find

NIP = New in Package

NOOP = New out of Package

NWOT = New without Tags

UN/Unused = Unused

LN = Like New

EUC = Excellent Used Condition

VGUC = Very Good Used Condition

GUC = Good Used Condition

NR = Needs Repair

PIF = Pay it Forward
