Go Tiny & Cloth!
August 9, 2016 12:32 pm | by

Cloth diapers are a great way to save money and reduce waste. If you’re interested in joining the tiny house movement, cloth diapers just make sense. In addition to reducing household waste, you will also save your family as much as $1200 over the cost of purchasing disposables. It’s possible to add even more to your savings when you resell your diaper stash after your baby potty trains. On top of waste prevention and money savings, using cloth diapers means that you’ll always have enough diapers! Here are a few tip on how to go tiny & cloth.

How many do you need?

Our one-size diapers feature multiple size settings, therefore will grow with baby. We recommend purchasing 24 one-size cloth diapers to cover baby from newborn to potty training. We have a variety of styles for you to choose the right system that works for your family.

What style is right for your family?

All-in-one cloth diapers are a good option because of their ease to use.

bumGenius Freetime. Designed with two semi-attached, stay-dry inserts, bumGenius Freetimes help make the most of your time by providing you with a quick, convenient and easy diapering solution.

bumGenius Elemental. Featuring inserts with six layers of luxuriously soft, 100% organic cotton, bumGenius Elementals are the ideal, natural solution that doesn’t compromise performance.

bumGenius Original 5.0. Pocket diapers are also as easy and convenient to use bumGenius Original 5.0 cloth diapers feature stay‐dry inner fabric that forms an inner pocket to hold inserts for customizable absorbency.

All-in-two cloth diapers may be better for a tiny space because they take up less space.

Flip Hybrid System. With our Flip hybrid system, you can choose the best insert for your needs: stay-dryorganic, or disposable. It’s easy to use! Simply place the insert inside the cover and put it on baby’s bum. When it’s time to change, just discard the dirty inserts, wipe the cover clean and replace with a fresh insert. The cover can be reused unless it was too messy. If the cover is soiled, it’s time for it to go in the dirty laundry.

Econobum. Our budget-friendly Econobum diapers are simple and affordable. Similar to Flip, these one-size diaper covers are paired with a prefold.

Don’t forget the accessories!

Once you’ve picked out your diapers, don’t forget to get cloth baby wipes, a hanging wet bag for dirties at home (ditch the diaper pail for a small space), a waterproof diaper tote for your diaper bag and, if you have an older baby, a diaper sprayer is a must-have.

If you’re committed to living in a small space, gaining financial independence and simplifying life, cloth diapers are a great addition to your lifestyle. Break free from the waste and a cost of disposables and embrace cloth diapers.
