The Story of Oops… and Oopsie!

Behind the scenes: The story of our color "Oops" and "Oopsie!"

With a name like Oops, there must be a story!

Did you know, the color “Oops” was purely chance? Fabric suppliers generate colors by code, but on one fateful run years ago, the code – we think for Blossom – was inverted. Just like that, Oops happened. Never wanting to waste, we decided to embrace the surprise. When we realized we didn’t have tabs that would match the PUL, our design team began proposing fun tab and snap combinations for our little Oops. We’d considered Grasshopper for one tab, Mirror for the other, with mixed up snaps, then someone pointed out that the purple was reminiscent of a Cadbury Egg and Noodle tabs would complete the look. Boom. The Oops we all know and love was born.
Oops had a surprise beginning, but it continued to surprise us… regularly. THERE ALWAYS SEEMED TO BE MORE OF IT. The truth is, there have been several times when we thought we’d finally run out. We’d say our goodbyes to Oops then someone would find a roll of fabric mistakenly labeled as Dazzle! (Because purple is purple is purple to some…but not us)

Oopsie!

Well, we’ve finally neared the end of Oops. For real. Seriously. We’re so sure this time, so in the spirit of Oops – we give you very much on purpose – Oopsie! There are two versions of Oopsie, both have Oops PUL, Jolly tabs, Mirror body snaps. One version has Mirror tab snaps and the other has multi snaps.
It’s time for Oops’ final hoorah, and we think this is the perfect goodbye to our happy accident! Get your Oopsie diaper now, while supplies last!
