Help Us Share the Love

Share the Love now shipping diapers to families in need. #sharethelove

When I switched to cloth diapers from disposables there was a lot I didn’t know.  One thing that didn’t even cross my mind was that cloth diapers not only have a life beyond one diaper change, they may even have a life beyond one child.  A friend of mine mentioned using the same set of diapers on both her first and second children.  Even more awesome is that the next go-around for your cloth diapers could be sharing the love with who may not have otherwise been able to afford diapers at all.

As a Mom, especially in those early days, it is hard enough to get a shower in let alone help someone else out.  Share the Love, a nation wide cloth diaper bank sponsored by Cotton Babies, makes it easy to get your diapers in the hands of a family who may be choosing between diapers and food.

Do you have diapers sitting around?  If you are no longer using your cloth diapers here’s how you can help:

1.  Email sharethelove@cottonbabies.com for instructions on how to ship your cloth diapers to a Share the Love host.  That host will distribute your diapers to someone who needs them.

2.  Check out the Share the Love website for a list of locations.  You may be able to avoid shipping costs and meet with a host in your area.

What if I still need my diapers?  I want to help too!

There is a way for just about anyone to help Share the Love.  Just by sharing this blog post or spreading the word about Share the Love in person could reach someone who may need diapers or may have diapers to give.

Your efforts will help us help those struggling to fight poverty in their local communities. So help us Share the Love!  Without donations from Moms like you and our amazing network of host sites, Share the Love would not be a locally-sustainable, nationally-accessible cloth diaper bank.  Thank you.
