Best Bath Products For Your New Baby
May 29, 2017 8:00 am | by

You’ve had the baby and brought him (or her) home in the super cute going home outfit, now starts the year of ‘the firsts’. First smile, first coo, first time sleeping through the night, first big diaper blowout and first bath. You want to make sure that everything with baby’s first bath is as easy and enjoyable as possible.

The best way to do is to make sure you have everything baby needs for their first bath and it is accessible when you need it. We’ve put together a list of the best bath time products that will make baby and momma happy. You can add these items to your baby registry or pick up anything you’re missing today.

Blooming bath - turquoise color. One of our favorite must-have bath items for babies

Blossoming baby bath mat – This super adorable flower fits right in your sink. It can be tossed in the washer and is easy to store. This bath mat has been a favorite of new moms for many years.

Bath kneeler mat – Not only does baby need to be comfortable during bath time, so does mom! This plush kneeler mat goes on the floor by the tub to make sitting with baby more enjoyable. It can be wiped down and dried.

Aden and Anais washcloths – These washcloths are made out of cotton muslin and super soft. They hold up well and are perfect for washing tiny baby bottoms and toes.

Aden and Anais hooded towel – There is nothing cuter then a fresh out of the tub baby in a hooded towel! Aden and Anais has a soft cotton muslin towel that is durable and oh so precious.

Gentle baby soap – You want to make sure to have a soap on hand this gentle enough for your sweet babe’s eyes and also is free of any harsh chemicals. California Baby has a variety of different shampoo and body washes that not only smell great but are perfect for babies. Aden and Anais is another great gentle baby wash option to have for bath time.

Waterfall rinser – To avoid getting water in babies eyes or over their noses, make sure to have this Skip Hop waterfall rinser in your bathroom. The water falls back over baby’s neck instead of right into their face like a traditional cup.

Water toys – As baby gets bigger you may want to add in some toys to your bath time routine. Some of my favorites are this light up koi goldfish, mix and match foam pals, and COGS building bath toys. Be sure to also have this Oball toy scoop to easily hold all of babies toys in the tub.

Now that you have all of the best bath time products in tow you are on the right track to making bath time more fun and enjoyable for mom and baby! To see other baby must-haves, check out our baby registry checklist for our most popular registry items.
