Babies require lots of diaper changes, right from the start. The biggest choice here is whether you’ll use cloth diapers or disposables. You’ll also need to set up a place to keep diaper changing supplies so you have what you need when you’re changing a wiggly baby.

Awesome! I just heard an advertisement on Y98 about Cotton Babies and the new BG 4.0!!!
Is the price point going to be the same?
Love the new hook & loop, but I am REALLY missing Ribbit, Moonbeam, and Zinnia. I (mistakenly) took a recommendation from a product comment and got more Grasshopper than Ribbit when I was ordering- wish I would have seen them in person first because I am not a fan of the pale colors. I would rather have all white than the pastels!
Can we see side by side comparisons of sweet and grasshopper and butternut and noodle? How are those new colors different than the old ones?
Could we maybe see a picture of a child wearing the 3.0 and the 4.0 to see the new sizing?
Boys and girls both are capable of wearing any color. Just sayin’…
I was so hoping for bold darker colors!!! Oh well.
Im still a little confused about hook and loop, kind of looks like a wrap around velcro??
Bold colors are my vote as well, although I know that it may present a bleeding problem, which may be the reason you haven’t offered it 🙁 I’d love to see red and an orange that is not Clementine. The new diapers have snaps, though, which is GREAT. I never used the 3.0 because of the aplix. Now I may consider the 4.0 an option!
Yay for snaps!! But I am itching for bold, primary colors!!
Are the laundry tabs improved on the 4.0? I have two in diapers and love BG 3.0, but have had to sew on so many new laundry tabs! Not difficult but a little hard to find time while juggling three kids under four!
What exactly do you mean by, “The bg4 has all new hook & loop closures”? I’m glad they’re new. But what’s different about them? The biggest problem I’ve had with bG3 is the velcro in the washer. Do these new ones fix that?
@Anonymous 3:37pm — According to the pic above noodle is PINK! (Although I know from their FB page noodle is pale yellow.) But more to the point, maybe you read my post incorrectly…I wrote TODDLER BOYS!! None of my toddler son’s clothes are the pale ANYTHING let alone the color of butter!
I think boys could wear sweet and noodle too, plus lots of the other colors 🙂
First, the positive. Kudos for offering them in SNAPS! But why more pastels, and not prints or darker boy colors? Pastels are NOT flattering on boys with darker skin tones; did you not consider this in your color decisions? It’s unfair that girls could where any of your color selections except moonbeam and ribbit, while toddler boys can only wear 3: white, moonbeam and ribbit (only to have them not match anything in their wardrobe.)
I love the improved versitility. Now can I justify buying one for a 19 month old who is more than a little interested in wearing pants?
