Econobum Trial Pack
January 19, 2017 8:00 am | by

Cloth diapering can be intimidating in the beginning… There are so many different brands and styles to choose from, the upfront cost can be a bit daunting and the commitment to laundry may seem tiring. We get it. But we’re here to tell you – it’s not as intimidating as it may seem! We’ve made it simple for you… enter Econobum Trial Pack.

Simple and affordable, Econobum was created with families on a budget in mind. Featuring a one-size cover and adjustable prefolds, the Econobum diapering system is made to grow with baby, enabling families to affordably diaper their babies from brith to potty training.

Oh, and did we mention the cover can be reused through multiple diaper changes? That’s right! Just like our Flip Cover,ย the Econobum waterproof shell is equipped to be reused with a fresh prefold a few times before switching it out for a new one. Which means… less money spent on covers and less LAUNDRY to do! Simply remove the soiled prefold, wipe down the cover, insert a clean prefold and wa-lah! Baby is clean and mama is back on her way. With such a simple process, any family member is sure to catch on!

Now, back to the Econobum Trial Pack. Equipped with a one-size cover and three 100% unbleached cotton prefolds, this pack was designed for parents to give Econobum a try and find out if it’s right for their family.

Here are a few other products we have available in this eco-friendly, affordable cloth diapering line:

The very first reason I decided to start cloth diapering was because of the fact that I could stock up and be prepared in that department for future baby. I knew that disposable diapers had an expiration date and well you can only get one use out of them, therefore I turned to cloth…and never looked back!

I initially decided to cloth diaper because I was going to have two babies in diapers. After starting cloth diapering though I fell in love with the all the types and prints and as I learned more about cloth diapers I realized how much better cloth diapers are for my babies and the environment. I’ve become a huge cloth diapering advocate and use my YouTube channel to educate people about cloth, do cloth diaper reviews and giveaways and spread my love of cloth diapers!

Over the years, a few Huggies diapers exploded and left my baby’s bum covered in that gel. I started to realize that from the time my kids were born until they were potty trained, that gel with all the chemicals in contains was on my baby’s skin 24/7. It couldn’t be a good thing… So when my #6 came along, I decided that it was time to switch to cloth!

I chose to start cloth diapering because they are cheap and adorable. I think it has turned into a bit of a hobby, so it doesn’t save as much money as buying a full set of econobums and then calling it good, but I still think I save money in the long run. Especially being a foster parent and reusing the diapers on numerous babies. 4.0s, Flips, and Elementals are 3 of my 4 favorite diapers, and econobum was the first diaper I ever bought (wasn’t as cute as the others, so I didn’t buy more, but it works as well as any of the others for WAY less!), and I would love to add another to my stash!

I am entering this giveaway for my good friend, a dear mama who just had three kids in diapers simultaneously (!!!) She was so tired of spending tons of money on garbage that she recently switched to cloth diapers. The poor woman is without a washing machine but is so committed to the benefits of cloth diapering that she washes them by hand! She of all people deserves as many extra diapers as she can get so she’s not a slave to the wash board after every diaper change just to ensure the diapers will be clean (and air-dried) by the time she needs them later. She’s my hero!!

Started cloth diapering to save some pennies so to speak. I got 3 and rotated them during the day and used a disposable at night. After I built up more a little at a time. Still don’t have as many as I would like. Only 18 diapers and 2 flip trainers but it still helps in the money department. Some wks I don’t even need to buy disposables.

I decided to use cloth diapers for a variety of reasons. Number one being my children’s skin sensitivity, I can control what I use to wash them with to keep problems from popping up. Second is because I absolutely cannot stand the smell of disposable diapers, to the point where it makes me sick. The chemical smell is overwhelming no matter what brand I purchase besides organic ones. If I’m going to spend an arm and a leg on something I would rather it be something reusable. We are expecting a baby Jan 27th and I’m trying to build my stash, this giveaway would be so perfect!

When I found out I was pregnant, there was no other option for my family than to use cloth diapers, I was committed from the start, I just didn’t know which route I would take, diaper service or on my own. We ultimately decided to start with the service and it was a great way to start because I quickly discovered how easy using and cleaning diapers really was so I purchased my own lot and quit the service. I haven’t looked back and I’ve even convinced several friends to cloth their babies as well!
