I always use natural cleaners. My son had horrible asthma attacks until we switched out all of the typical ones with green ones. His asthma attacks became so mild that at first we couldn’t recognize them.

We try to be as green as we can without breaking the bank. We have switched most of our light bulbs and try to bundle up instead of turning the heat on during the fall and spring. We have switched all of our cleaners to eco-friendly brands. I try to buy organic as much as possible. We also try to buy fair trade too. We use cloth diapers, wipes, rags for clean up, cloth napkins and rarely use paper towels. I try to purchase most of my kids clothes used, as well as most of our baby gear, furniture, my clothes, etc. I have learned to re-purpose and re-use as much possible. We also have been growing our own veggies and fruits over the summer. Every little thing helps to reduce our carbon footprint.
