On October 14 and 15th in Atlanta, Georgia, nearly 200 women gathered for the 2016 Warrior Mom® Conference by Postpartum Progress, an organization dedicated to supporting women who are battling postpartum depression. The majority of women in attendance were survivors of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. The Warrior Mom Conference is a 100% mom-centered conference. It allows women to gather with other survivors and learn how to support other moms in their communities – all while having fun. It’s a time to take a break and focus on self-care. This year’s conference focused on the Warrior Mom community: the volunteers, climbers, blog readers, forum members, and staff that have changed the face of PPD for so many women and families.
