Keep Baby Cozy on the Go
November 13, 2019 3:38 pm | by

Keep your little one bundled up at the weather cools off. Here are a few of our favorite ways to keep your baby cozy on the go.

1. Wear the baby

Keep baby snuggled up away from the elements in a baby carrier. You will be able to easily tell if the baby is getting too hot or too cold if you are wearing them in a carrier.

This Skip Hop Three Season Footmuff is great for taking walks as the temperature drops. You can easily remove the winter layer as you head indoors to keep your baby the perfect temperature. This is a great feature for shopping with a napping child! As the winter near, it’s a must-have in colder climates for trick or treating or outdoor holiday light displays.

3. Blanket

Wearing a bulky winter coat in a car seat is NOT a safe choice. How can you tell if their coat is too puffy? Put your baby in their carseat while wearing their coat. Unbuckle the seat, but do not loosen the straps. Remove the straps and re-buckle the seat. If there is a lot of slack in the straps, that coat is too bulky to wear in the car. A fleece jacket is a good option. Your child can put their arms through their coat once they are buckled in or use a blanket for extra warmth. Keeping a blanket in the car is a good idea in case of emergencies, too.

Cozy winter coats designed for babywearing will keep you both snug as a bug! This one is designed for maternity and babywearing to help extend its use.

Keep those little bald heads warm with a soft hat.

6. Leg Warmers

If your little one is wearing a dress, add a pair of leg warmers to keep their little legs from freezing.
