Every time a new year rolls around, I am so anxious to get my house in order after the chaos and mess of the holidays. With that, I do lots of organizing and a bit of spring cleaning. Yes, even in January!
And so this year, the tree went out to the curb, holiday decorations were boxed up, and the toy room was purged for the hundredth time to make room for new stuff. I cracked the windows to let in the fresh cold air, and cleaned the house from top to bottom.
This time, I used Better Life What-EVER All-Purpose Cleaner for the entire house: toilets, countertops, tubs, sinks, windowsills, doorknobs, basically every surface that needed cleaning. It cleans the tough stuff very easily, even my glass-cooktop stove and shower walls (which usually has an embarrassing amount of soapy build-up). It leaves no streaks and has a subtle yet pleasant scent. I usually hold my breath when using cleaners, but I don’t have to with this. What-EVER comes in Clary-Sage & Citrus and a scent-free version. It is a very gentle product and doesn’t seem to have an effect on my dry winter hands. (I have eczema so this is a big deal to me!)
Simply Floored also works remarkably well! For years I have used diluted white vinegar and hot water on my hardwood floors. It does the job alright and I know it’s safe (for my kids and hardwood), but after trying Simply Floored I could immediately tell a difference! The first time I used Simply Floored, I had what I thought were permanent scuffs on my hardwood floors, which disappeared almost immediately! My floors actually look newer now. It leaves a subtle shine without build-up, and the scent is light and clean. Much better than vinegar!
