Review: Bump Nest Pregnancy Pillow
January 30, 2015 11:50 am | by

Let’s talk about the Bump Nest Pregnancy Pillow. When I was expecting, I wasn’t sure I was going to need a special pregnancy pillow. A pillow is a pillow, right?Screen Shot 2015-01-30 at 12.48.13 PM

I received the Bump Nest pillow as a gift before I even had a baby bump. I felt reluctant to use it so early in my pregnancy, but hey — I also felt reluctant to wear maternity pants before I absolutely HAD to. Never again will I wait to use either of those things. DO IT NOW! Heck, do it even if you’re not even pregnant.

The Bump Nest pillow, or as my husband calls it, the “candy cane pillow,” is shaped just like a giant “J.” When I would lay on it, I would put the long part between my knees, under my belly, while the hook/curve would lay under my head, around my neck and face. Luckily, the cover zips off and on quickly in case I needed to wash off any makeup I was too tired to remove.

The pillow stuffing is so comfortable. It’s like a cloud, and it’s lightweight — my arm didn’t even fall asleep under it. I had very achy hips through much of my pregnancy and I could tell a huge difference on the rare occasions I was away from home and did not have my Bump Nest pillow. I should have taken it along because the pillow travels easily in its reusable zippered bag. Not only that, it also comes with a matching hat for baby. My sweet girl wore hers just yesterday and she looked so cute in the stylish print.

I highly recommend this pillow to my pregnant friends and it would make a great gift for a mom-to-be as well.
