Review: SprayPal
January 24, 2015 2:38 pm | by

Screen Shot 2015-01-24 at 3.37.25 PMWhen you start using cloth diapers,  everything seems like unicorns and rainbows. Really. Who doesn’t want a rainbow of colorful diapers and their unicorn print? 😉 But then, your baby starts eating solids and you find out that cloth diapering isn’t rainbows and unicorns at all. It’s actually full of poop. Poop that is in your cloth diapers that has to come out — some how, some way! Now let me warn you, cleaning the poop is going to be messy. And it certainly isn’t fun. This doesn’t have to be so bad!

You see, there are people thinking about us parents who cloth diaper. They come up with a plan to make this messy part of cloth diapering… well, not so messy. No one wants to clean the entire bathroom every time their baby poops or even worse, get said excrements on themselves.

SprayPal is literally the best thing invented for cloth diaper clean up. It’s a diaper sprayer’s BFF. I honestly don’t know how I would have survived cloth diaper clean up without the SprayPal because it keeps water from your diaper sprayer contained and the poop splash at bay. With SprayPal, poopy toilet water can’t splash up, out onto the floor or onto your walls. If water does splash, it’ll end up on the SprayPal and then right back into the toilet where it belongs. Genius, huh? (Ohhh can we get a SprayPal diaper???? I kid, I kid!)

In all seriousness, the SprayPal is the most used cloth diapering accessory in our home next to the diaper sprayer itself. This product is an absolute a must have, and no cloth diapering family should be without one. Plus, the SprayPal is affordable.

See what's on sale to save even more!

So what do you do with this handy device when your kids grow out of cloth? WELL, I’ve seen one mom draw a circle on an unsnapped SprayPal and make it a target for potty training her son! I’ve also seen someone post on Facebook about how they used  SprayPal when they were sick because putting their face into a toilet made them feel even worse. (Points for creativity!) I’m sure that there are many other awesome ways that people can come up with to reuse SprayPal even after their babies grow up. Or hey, you can also give it to another cloth diapering family. Paying it forward is always a great thing to do!

In reality, I don’t know if we would have kept cloth diapering if we didn’t have a SprayPal. There were MANY diapers that I wish I could have just thrown away. Poop is gross. Poop doesn’t belong on the floor, even if the toddler doesn’t agree with you.  SprayPal is the best. Seriously.
