Real Dad Talk: Father’s Day Gift Guide
June 2, 2016 4:22 pm | by

Last month, I put together a Mother’s Day Gift Guide. Since this year will mark my first official Father’s Day, I’ve put together a list of gifts any dad will love that fit any budget.

Fathers Day Gift Guide

1. Emperor Penguin (Printable Poster)

Download and print this Emperor Penguin poster at home or send to your favorite print-shop. Did you know that the Emperor Penguin is one of the most dedicated fathers in nature? This print is a pretty perfect (and easy) Father’s Day gift.

$5.19 (plus printing)

2. Genius Series Pocket Notebook (3 Pack)

The shortest pencil is better than the longest memory. Perfect for jotting down a list of home improvement projects, note taking at work or even fun doodling. This item includes 3 pocket notebooks each with its own unique look to compliment the latest Genius Series print. Packaged as a set of three.

$9.99

3. Social Print Studio Photostrips

My wife and I have constantly been Instagram-ing pictures of Everett since the day he was born. For Christmas, Ashley had a couple sets of these photostrips printed with some of our favorite pictures for me to display at my desk. It’s been almost six months and Everett looks completely different now so I’m hoping she places an order to be delivered before June 19th rolls around. Simply download the app and it will connect to your Instagram account to select the pictures. They offer several other cool ways to print and display all those cute baby pictures you’ve accumulated.

$10 (for 9 photostrips)

4. Genius Series Sierpinski Cold Cup

This double wall tumbler is the perfect pair to my favorite Genius Print. Great for water at my desk or iced coffee and smoothies on the go. The sleek modern cup pairs nicely with the geometric pattern. It has been on back-order due to limited quantities but is FINALLY available.

$11.95

5. Your Baby’s First Word Will Be DADA

Last year, when we were expecting my son, my wife gave me several “Dad” books to read to Everett once he arrived. She intentionally left this Jimmy Fallon one out in fear that it would encourage Everett’s first word be “DADA”. I picked it up and have read it to him daily since he was 2 months old. The verdict is still out but I’m certain he’ll be saying “MAMA” first. Regardless, I look forward to reading it to him every day. He giggles every time I say “Dada”.

$13.12

6. Coolest Dad Ever Tee

You know he’s the coolest dad ever. Obviously, he needs a stylish shirt to advertise it on Father’s Day. Design is one of kind, drawn by hand, digitally transferred to the computer, then screen printed by hand. Basement Shirts does everything in house, from top to bottom. Printed on a Tri blend tee, so soft he’ll probably never take it off.

$13.59

7. Lifefactory Glass Food Storage Containers

These vibrant colored glass food containers are a good size for taking a healthy lunch to work. The tempered glass containers and sleeve are oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. Perfect for the CrossFit Dad living on that Paleo diet!

$17.99

8. Ergo 360

I love the Ergo360. It allows you to easily carry baby in 4 positions – front-inward, front -outward, hip, and back. This carrier is sure to turn any guy into a Baby-Wearing-Daddy in no time. Check out my previous blog post for more about the 360 and how I became a Babywearing Dad.

$160.00

9. Mica The Morris2 Watch

My wife gave me an all wood Mica watch for my birthday several years ago. It’s one of my favorite possessions, I receive compliments almost every time I wear it (which is daily). This Blonde Pine and black leather timepiece is a sharp option that would be a great addition to any Dad’s watch collection.

$179

10. Mountain Buggy Terrain Stroller

This all-terrain stroller is lightweight and easy to maneuver while still providing a smooth ride. Dad and kiddo will spend countless hours running, walking and hiking with this bad-boy.

$449.99
