If you’re going to baby shower or sprinkle, here’s our roundup of the most fun, creative, practical gifts that every mom loves!

  1. Hospital Bag.  Fill a cute bag with chocolatey snacks, hair ties, Sudoku/games, PJ pants, classical music, water bottles, magazines and anything else she could want or need pre or post-delivery. My girlfriend made me a bag like this for my fourth child. I used everything in the bag during my long labor and post-hospital stay and now I use it as my diaper bag. It is such a thoughtful and practical gift.
  1. Bath Time Present. Fill a bath tub with bath toys, bubble bath, shampoo, lotion, clippers, comb, towels, wash cloths. Just give her any and everything bath-related.
  2. aden + anais swaddles, blankets and crib sheets are my all-time favorite gifts because they are high quality, beautiful and so soft.
  3. bumGenius Cloth Diapers. Fill her stash with Genius Series collection or give her some basic colors. Throw in some bumGenius Liquid Laundry Detergent and a wet bag and she will be on her way to full-time cloth diapering.
  4. Nursing Pack. Stock up on Mother’s Milk Tea, nursing pads, nursing cover, nipple ointmentChewbeads, Earth Mama Angel Baby Booby Tube. It’s nice for first time moms/nursers  to know what has worked for veteran moms.
  5. Personalized Baby Gift. A girlfriend embroidered my daughter’s name on a beautiful bath towel and now my daughter carries it around as her blanket. Personalized feels so much more special.
  6. Kidco PeaPod. This amazing traveling bed allows baby to feel at home whenever during travel. My girlfriend used this when she visited us from Minnesota and her baby never had to adjust to a new crib. She went right to sleep in her PeaPod. It’s perfect for the traveling mom.
  7. Crochet Hat. A handmade gift adds value and thoughtfulness. A hat is also adorable for baby pictures.
  8. Girlie Gifts. Fill a pink tote with all things girl: Piggy Paint Nail Polish, hair bows, baby bling, BabyLegs, ruffled bloomers. Everything pink and fancy for the little lady. Do the same for a little boy by filling a bag with a superhero onesie, Finn + Emma Wooden Teething Rattle in the Heart Tattoo, Urban Sunday Bow Tie
  9. Mommy Time Box. Pack it with mani/ pedi gift card, bath salts, slippers, face mask, lipstick. Everything that a mom wouldn’t necessarily buy for herself.
