Review: MilkDaze Nursing Cami
July 10, 2014 6:11 pm | by

MilkDaze_CamiBlack1It’s hard to find a nursing tank that meets all of my criteria – not too skimpy, supportive, comfortable, and easy to nurse in. With the birth of my third baby in April, I was on the lookout for the perfect tank. TheĀ MilkDaze Nursing CamiĀ has been the best I’ve found so far.

The nursing tank is true to size. I wear a large shirt and the large tank fits well. It’s nice and long, which I like because I don’t want my postpartum belly popping out of my clothes. The tank is a bit low cut, but it’s perfect to layer under a cardi or for sleeping. I prefer a more modest neckline than a tank provides, but that’s just me. The material is very soft and there are no scratchy or uncomfortable tags.

As far as tanks go, it is fairly supportive. I have a large chest and it was quite comfortable and adequate. It’s obviously not as supportive as a bra, so I like to wear it to sleep in. It doesn’t provide a ton of lift, but kept my boobs up enough.

The style of this nursing tank was a little different than any I’ve seen before. The cups are arranged in a double layer with a split in between, allowing you to pull the top layer down to nurse. It took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, nursing was easy. I liked that it provided some coverage on the top of the breast while nursing without looking like a cat woman costume like some other nursing tanks I’ve used. The top layer did tend to move back into place if my baby unlatched, so I had to pull it back out of the way to rematch.

Overall, I really liked this nursing tank. It is something I am more likely to wear at home or to sleep in, but it can easily be layered to wear out. I would recommend it to someone who was looking for a layering option or who preferred tanks over nursing bras.
