Natural Nipple Butter Review

earth mama angel babyBefore I was even pregnant with my son, I started switching up some of the products we used in our home. One of the biggest changes was with personal hygiene products. When I started doing my research, I found Earth Mama Angel Baby was exactly what I was looking for! All products are certified organic, GMO-free and 100% natural. I first tried the soap. Then, I started using the tea. I later fell in love with the Happy Mama Spray, grabbed some of Baby Bottom Balm and Mama Bottom Spray. Then lastly, I decided to try the Nipple Butter.

When I started using the nipple butter… I wasn’t nursing a child. I originally purchased it because I heard it was great on your lips — like a Chapstick. It contains all the right ingredients to heal dry/chapped lips. Even the girls loved it and called it the “chocolate lip stuff” because it has a hint of chocolate due to the shea butter.

Fast forward to when I became pregnant: My nipples started to hurt. During the third trimester it was excruciating. I nearly cried every day. As a result, I decided to bust out my natural nipple butter and my reusable nursing pads. The nipple butter brought some serious relief and I was able to keep it from rubbing onto my bra with the breast pads.

A few weeks later, I had a new reason to start using my natural nipple butter! I was nursing a newborn. You better believe that this was one of the must-have items I packed in my hospital bag. I started using it from day 1. EMAB nipple butter is safe to use between nursing sessions and doesn’t need to be wiped off before nursing. I would put some on before and after nursing to help my nipples adjust to feeding a baby again. There’s always a bit of tenderness when you’re feeding a new baby and the nipple butter gave me the right amount of relief I needed to get me through those tough first weeks.

I have also been told that EMAB nipple butter is great for other uses as well! You can use it on dry skin, eczema, chapped lips, as a diaper cream, minor rashes, and to protect scrapes and abrasions! It’s seriously a miracle cream! It’s so smooth and never feels sticky. It feels like, well… butter! 😉
