Cotton Babies goes beyond babywearing, breastfeeding and cloth diapering… We can aid you in most areas during the first few years of your parenting journey. One such area many parents find themselves in need of help is sleep. From soothing music to cozy blankets, we carry a variety of must-have bedtime products, but one of our newest favorites is the Skip Hop Hug Me Projection Soother.

This little battery-operated baby soother was made to help battle (or avoid) sleep regression and disruptive sleep patterns. Featuring a celestial-filled circular pattern that projects on just about any surface, soothing melodies and ultra-cuddly qualities, it provides a calming environment to encourage and allow your little one to drift off to sleep.

Cuddle me!

As with any wonderful accessory, your little one will probably want to pull it down and play with it. With the Skip Hop Hug Me Soother, that’s totally fine – and it was made for exactly that! Simply flip up the pocket to cover the projector belly of this cuddly little creature and you’ll have a warm nighttime glow.

Sing with me too!

Whether you choose the sweet little bear or the soft lamb, your little one will drift into dreamland hearing four gentle melodies. What a wonderful way to fall asleep! The 20-minute auto-off will conserve battery energy, making this both portable and cord-free!

This stellar, huggable nightlight seamlessly transitions from birth to toddlerhood and beyond, while always providing comfort with familiar lights and sounds no matter where you find yourself putting your little one to bed.

I like to sing to my little one and we have a lullaby bird that plays music for about 15 mins and shuts off automatically.

I don’t have a specific trick to get my little one to bed. Sometimes she nurses to sleep. Other times, she can just be rocked. Lately I’ve been letting her play in the bathtub and then Lavendar lotion to calm her with fresh jammies.

I do an epsom salt bath with lavender and chamomile in the salt. A professional told me that the magnesium in the epsom salts help with sleeping issues.

I get my toddler to fall asleep by building him a fort to sleep in. My 5 month old just needs to have a full belly! Those things plus the same bedtime routine really helps them both fall asleep. 😉

Nursing to sleep is a good “trick”. 😉 My one true trick with toddlers is to tell them I just have to go do xyz, which keeps them happy and stationary in bed anticipating my return and often results in them drifting off to sleep.

I almost always rock my little one before putting him down awake in his crib to sleep. I used a combination of no-cry sleep methods and gradual withdrawal.

My trick to get little one to sleep is consistency in a routine and making sure the room is VERY dark… had such a better time with bedtime once we put up black out curtains.
