About Mama Melissa Shanor
Melissa is the owner and creator of Forty41 cloth diapers.

As a mom of two who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, Melissa is very passionate about reducing everyday waste, especially when produced by disposable diapers.

“I love being able to marry my creative hobby with my passion for preserving the planet for future generations,” Melissa shared.

Having grown up in a household where sewing was prevalent, Melissa’s personal sewing journey began shortly after the birth of her youngest child. She started small by making simple clothing items and toys for her family and eventually branched out and created wool covers made from re-purposed sweaters. This led to creating quality fitted diapers.

“I feel very lucky to have continued support from my family, friends, and wonderful customers. I look forward to where this journey will take me,” Melissa said.
