About Mama Carrie Landry Cowles
Source is located in Coventry, Connecticut and owned by Carrie Landry-Cowles. A mom to three, Carrie dedicates her time sewing and designing, while also pursing culinary arts.
With a background in art and design, Carrie originally worked in Landscape Design, but after having children, she became a graphic designer and started Sugar Peas Cloth Diapers in 2002, which she later sold.
Having a passion for cooking, Carrie started working as a chef in 2006. Three years later, she opened Zest, a farm-to-table restaurant in Tolland, Connecticut.
With sustainability always on the forefront , Carrie is a big cloth diaper and natural baby products advocate. She also supports cooking with local, naturally-produced foods and is involved with the Coventry Farmer’s Market.
