15 Ways to Use a Swaddle Blanket

The Multi-Tool of Parenting If I were to choose one must-have baby item, I think I would choose a swaddle blanket. I’m still loving swaddle blankets. They are like the swiss army knife of parenting tools- and my youngest child just turned 11. There is something about that beautiful woven fabric. Stella, my youngest, loved to be swaddled – constantly. I used to jest that it was because of the egg rolls and burritos I craved while I was pregnant.  My current obsession is our Genius series Swaddle Blankets.  These are MY colors.  I can never quite decide which one

Genius Harper

This week for Truly Genius Tuesday, we’re talking about a Genius Series diaper print that has definitely been an “HTF” (hard to find) cloth diaper: the elusive genius Harper. Cotton Babies designed this Genius Series print in partnership with one of our bumGenius retailers, Abby’s Lane, for an exclusive release in November 2014. About a year ago, we moved cloth diaper production to our headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. During the move, we discovered a very small amount of leftover Harper fabric. The Genius Series Harper print was featured in  Cotton Babies Mob-famous photo Jennifer Labit posted: a pallet of remnant material. We had

Patriotic Genius Mary Pickersgill

Each Truly Genius Tuesday, we explore the lives of those who have inspired the unique cloth diaper prints in our Genius Series. We’ve talked about mathematics, discovered the geniuses of music and movies, and explored the world of plants and animals. We’ve met Maggie, traveled to the rainforest with Chico, and this week – in honor of Flag Day – we are talking about our patriotic genius, Mary Pickersgill! She created the Great Garrison Flag that flew during the 1814 Battle of Baltimore. Aside from her
