November 4, 2013 5:25 pm | by

Let’s get social! #CBsocial, that is! For those of you who’ve been participating in the #clothdiapers chat over the past few weeks, you probably noticed that we’ve been talking on our Facebook and Twitter pages – at the same time! We’re going to continue this trend during the #clothdiapers chat tonight, but the only difference is that we’re adding the hashtag #CBsocial. This will be like #clothdiapers chat, but you’re going to want to follow BOTH hashtags, especially if you want to win prizes 😉 So, what’s #CBsocial? It’s a virtual meet up with Cotton Babies! Since most of our friends

Inside Cotton Babies: Afternoon DJ
September 5, 2012 2:05 pm | by

At Cotton Babies, we love music! If you walked through our office and warehouse, you’d see people with iPods, wearing ear buds and occasionally music coming through speakers. In the marketing office, we even like to play “Afternoon DJ,” a game in which we each take turns choosing a song that’s often based on a theme for the day. Our musical styles vary greatly, as do our ages, so the result is often fun and entertaining. To celebrate 30,000 Facebook likes on the Cotton Babies page, we put together a little playlist to give you an inside peek at what

Real Diaper Week and Cover Love
April 13, 2012 10:27 pm | by

Can you feel the love? April 16 marks the beginning of Real Diaper Week. We are excited to join with other manufacturers, retailers, and most importantly parents all over the globe to bring attention to cloth diapering and its wonderful benefits. We know many of you started cloth diapering with intention of reducing landfill waste and the long term cost savings, and now your love for these colorful nappies could rival Carrie Bradshaw’s Manolo Blahnik addiction but whatever reason your family has chosen cloth diapers over disposables it amounts to so much good in the long run. Real Diaper Week

We have posted an album on the bumGenius Facebook page of the prints we are considering for the next round of the bumGenius Artist Series. These are all prints designed by artists, created independently and submitted to our Marketing department. To help us better understand what our fans think, we’ve created a Question on our Wall so you can tell us! After answering that question, please click the “like” icon under the diapers that you would buy for sure! Thanks for your help!

Announcing Your Pregnancy
July 13, 2011 4:11 am | by

In the last six weeks, I’ve had about 10 women share with me that they are expecting a new member of their family. It’s always fun and amazing to see how a family’s personality shows with how they choose to announce a pregnancy. With modern technology and social media, there are even more ways to express your joy about your new arrival. For today’s real mom talk, it’s your turn to share your story. How did you tell your family and friends about your pregnancy? Did you shout to the world all at the same time or tell a few

Celebrating Fathers Cotton Babies Style
June 17, 2011 4:00 pm | by

Admitably, I’m a bit of a daddy’s girl, as my bio shares I’m the oldest of four, and no kids of my own yet. This is a fun picture of my family from years… and years… AND years ago. I’m the one in red with the slightly mischievous look on my face. By the way, I was a cloth diapered baby, when I was growing up we didn’t have much money but my parents made us feel like we had something special and rich every day. Pictures like this one are so valuable because they captured one of those moments

Change 3 Things Update
March 8, 2011 1:14 am | by

For those who may not have heard already, our Change 3 Things project encountered a little hiccup. We had to begin again with a fresh Facebook page, which you can find here: Facebook.com/changethreethings Unfortunately, we lost all of our 6,000+ commitments from those of you who had “Liked” the page. If you are willing to make the commitment to change at least 3 cloth diapers a day, help us count by clicking “Like” on the Facebook page. Our goals are: 100,000 parents committed to change 3 cloth diapers per day.* 30-50 million pounds of prevented landfill waste* 100 million disposable
