Thursday Giveaway: Take a vacation with Flip!
July 5, 2012 3:11 pm | by

Every parent needs a good vacation every now and then. However, your idea of vacation and mine may differ greatly. Honestly, it’s a good day of vacation when I don’t have to cook, wash dishes or laundry and I can lounge around reading a good book for as long as I like. I’m a simple girl, with simple wishes. With a family of six, days where I don’t have to do a single chore are pretty much only in my dreams. That’s one reason why I love the Flip diapering system. The three different styles of inserts cover just about

Tuesday Giveaway: Be flexible with Flip!
April 24, 2012 2:44 pm | by

Parenting requires a certain amount of flexibility. I used to think I was pretty flexible and easy going, until I had children. I have since learned how to be even more flexible than I ever thought possible. There are always those moments when you are loading up the car, getting everyone buckled in tightly and your potty training toddler decides they want to try again. How about the morning you have to be somewhere at a specific time and you can’t find the missing shoe that was just there an hour ago? When children are involved (especially toddlers), there is

Cloth Diapers 101: Types of Cloth Diapers
March 19, 2012 1:46 pm | by

It has been more than a year since we shared information about the different styles or types of cloth diapers currently available. There are a lot of new products that have been introduced in the last year, so we thought a little refresher course might help. Just like any new hobby or skill you learn, parenting and especially cloth diapering, comes with its own jargon. I was really confused when I first started, then I got the hang of it. I felt pretty confident when I joined the Cotton Babies team only to learn there was a lot more to

Many of you want to know more specifics about how to safely dry your diapers, especially during the cold, damp winter months. Our basic instructions are “Line-dry covers and diaper shells. Tumble dry inserts, fitteds and prefolds.” Making sure to dry
