The Legacy of Chico Mendes
April 25, 2017 11:30 am | by
chico

Last Saturday was Earth Day, which U.S. Senator, Gaylord Nelson, founded on April 22, 1970. Earth Day was originally set up as an environmental teach-in hosted at many colleges, universities, primary and secondary schools, as well as hundreds of communities across the United States. More than 40 years later, Earth Day is still going strong, bringing millions of Americans together in peaceful demonstrations and celebrations in favor of environmental reform. Earth Day has many heroes and we think it truly celebrates the legacy of Chico Mendes. Growing up in the jungle Chico Mendes developed a love and respect for nature early in life.

April 18, 2017 12:25 pm | by

The music of Mozart, melodies from a man who lived centuries ago, continues to sing to generations. He was the youngest of seven children, five of which sadly died as babies. Music & Mozart Music was always a part of Mozart’s life. By the age of five, not only could he play the keyboard and violin, but composed music too! His work is the definition of the Classical era; he composed symphonies, concertos, operas, and is known to

Edith’s family moved to Minnesota when she was eight years old. Her family owned large prairie property which is where she discovered her love for nature. The Butterfly Effect of Patch The inspiration behind our Genius Series print came from the prize-winning essay on monarch butterflies Edith Patch wrote for an essay contest in high school. January 31, 2017 11:00 am | by

Truly Genius Tuesday has returned! This week, we’re celebrating Sierpinski’s Genius Series birthday! This geometric print, honoring Waclaw Sierpinski, joined our Genius Series on January 27, 2016. His namesakes also include: A street in Warsaw, where he was a professor at the University of Warsaw for over 40 years. Genius Series T-shirt Review
March 20, 2016 7:18 pm | by

First things first: Why are Genius Series T-shirts only available for babies?! Sometimes, I just want to rock my favorite cloth diaper prints, too! Genius Series T-shirts are made for babies six months and up. Jackson is just starting to fit into 6-month clothing so this shirt still has some room for him to grow into, but that’s okay — he just gets to wear it longer that way! Like most T-shirts, I expected this one to shrink a bit. In actuality, it didn’t shrink much at all, which is even better when it comes to children’s clothes.  The Genius Series T-shirts match Jackson’s cloth diapers

We created a one-of-a-kind T-shirt that features the words, “E=MC2 aka Energy=MoreCoffee2,”
