Virtual learning has, hopefully, improved for many families since this spring when it was thrust into our lives. Back to Scool Blues My kids still have a few years until they start kindergarten, but last night at daycare we had a graduation party for the kids who are heading off to kindergarten. I know it’s normal for parents to feel some sadness as their kids move on from being preschoolers to kindergarten, but it hit me surprisingly hard. Why pack your child’s lunch? There are so many good reasons! I do it to save money and to make sure my kids are eating a good, healthy lunch each day. There are other advantages, too — like providing your child with a greater variety of foods, and (especially if your child has food sensitivities) guaranteeing control over what they eat. Yay! School is back in session! I mean, I think. I was getting a little worn out being Addie’s cruise director everyday. She learned the fine art of being bored this summer but she also managed to ask enough questions that I began to go cross eyed by the end of July.
