Each year, we have a Gratitude Circle before we sit down to eat. Our family is well known for taking in anyone who doesn’t have a place to go on Thanksgiving so we never know who will show up, but it’s always filled with love, family and new faces. This year, we had two new friends join us with their little girl who was born the day before our son. It was SO much fun to have two 7mo babies bring new life, giggles and snuggles to our celebration.

Dinner switches between my family and my in laws… my family slow smokes a turkey, we usually light a fire in the fire pit and hang out outside while the turkey cooks. Also we always looks at the ads!

It’s a day filled with stuffing our bellies to the brim and watching football. We have multiple meals with multiple family sets (breakfast, lunch, and later lunch) so we’re usually miserable (but fat and happy) by the end of the day!
