4moms Origami Stroller

Last fall, when the Cotton Babies team travelled to the ABC Kids Expo, we could not get enough of this new stroller and couldn’t wait to get it into our stores and online for our customers. Even I said to Jenn, “Wow, this is so awesome it makes me almost want to have another baby…. almost.” (It’s an awesome stroller, but uninterrupted sleep is really awesome in my book.)
Why is it such an amazing stroller? I’m so glad you asked. The 4moms Origami stroller is a power folding stroller. That’s right, no more struggling and having to push the right lever at the exact right time, with your left foot on bar C, all while doing a move that looks like it belongs in a game of Twister.
The stroller is powered by generators in the rear wheels that recharge the battery as you push it. It has a LCD display that tells you a variety of information you may be curious about including air temperature, speed and it will even charge your cell phone or music device!

As a mom of four, I was a little skeptical. Okay, I’ll be honest, I drilled the poor guy giving us the demonstration. I’ve seen more than my fair share of technology that looks good but isn’t practical. You’ll be glad to know that there are safety sensors in the seat that prevent the stroller from collapsing while a child is sitting in it. Which is an important feature for any second (or later) child. We all know how “helpful” an older toddler or preschooler can be. There are also manual releases in the event the unexpected happens, which means you’ll never be stuck in the mall parking lot with a stroller you can’t collapse to get into your car. Every question I asked had an acceptable answer. I couldn’t stump him. They really did think of everything at 4moms.
The 4moms Origami, like all great new technology, is not cheap. However, I’ve learned over the years that quality products are nearly always worth the price. The 4moms Origami is quite comprable in price to other quality strollers you’ll find at Cotton Babies that aren’t packed with this kind of technology.
