Everyone should give a try to a simple, basic cloth diapering system. Either you’ll learn to love cloth or learn to love fancier systems, either way it leads to less disposable trash.

Honestly? Just winning an Econobum Trial Kit would help us to cloth diaper more effectively. Our first child is due in November so we’re trying to build up our cloth diaper supply. Not only would this give us more cloth diapers to use, but it would give us another example of what’s out there to see what will work best for both of us and our son.

I love the simplicity of diaper covers and prefolds. It’s easy for anyone (grandparents included), this option cost the least, and is the most practical diaper because you can use the cover multiple times. It’s a winner!

I would love to use Econobum diapers! I’m pregnant and due in January, and my husband and I have been doing lots of research about different brands and types of cloth diapers. We are hoping to save money using cloth diapers, and Econobum sounds like a great brand with the sizing aid to enable you to use the same diapers through potty training!

Using Econobum would remind me of the original reasons why we started to use cloth. To save money and be more eco friendly, but I got caught up in the rainbow hype! I usually use 4.0’s or FreeTimes but to use a cover and prefold would be more cost effective, being that I can reuse the cover cuts down on laundry and we have an HE machine, I can save even more money and water.
Thanks CB for bringing me back down to earth πŸ™‚
