Thursday Giveaway: Breastfeeding Awareness
August 20, 2015 7:44 pm | by

Alarge-2ugust is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month, and we want to celebrate and support this special time between mom and baby. Thoughtful products can make a difference when it comes to nurturing and enhancing your breastfeeding experience, so we’re giving away some of our favorites.

The Milk Daze Nursing Cami is a wardrobe staple. Flattering and forgiving on postpartum figures, this basic tank has a modest bodice with an under layer that provides ultimate coverage. The front layer pulls aside to expose the nipple for feeding and snaps back into place without clips or hardware.

Simple, discreet and absorbent, the MilkDaze Stay-Dry Nursing Pads are the perfect option for any breastfeeding momma. Designed to wick moisture away from the skin, these ultra-absorbent nursing pads tuck under the bra and use the weight of the breast to keep in place while breastfeeding.

This week, two mamas will receive a Milk Daze Nursing Cami and a pack of nursing pads. To enter, tell us why breastfeeding your baby is important to you.

I think It is a special time to bond with your baby. I am not a mother yet but will be in February and can’t wait to be able to provide something so special for my baby.

I love sharing the bond that we have when breastfeeding. It is also important to know that it’s the perfect food made just for her and it changes its nutrient as she grows to supply her with what she needs.

I love breastfeeding (in my case exclusively pumping) because it’s just what my baby needs.

As a missionary mother of 8 (all born within 11 years) nursing was definitely the way to go. Not only does it give me bonding time with my baby that I might not feel I can take the time for when life is too busy but it gives me the freedom to travel, stay at home, or whatever is needed. We live without electricity so there is no refrigeration at all. If we used formula there may be times we use it up and just can’t get out to get more due to weather, roads, etc. Sometimes my husband needs to be away and then he is gone longer than planned and I don’t have anyway to get to a store that sells formula. And it’s so nice to be able to get baby in the middle of the night, snuggle him/her up to your breast and go right back to sleep. Besides all that there is nothing like the feeling of your baby sucking at your breast and looking up into your eyes with eyes of love and adoration.

Breastfeeding my baby is so important to me because I know that they are getting nutrients only my body can provide. I can pass my strong immunities to them too. I breastfed my twins and my younger son and now I plan on breastfeeding my baby on the way. Thank you for the chance to win!

Breastfeeding is important to me for so many reasons! My milk nourishes my baby like nothing else can, and it provides antibodies, but most of all it creates an unimaginable bond as it is something only I can give her!

Breastfeeding is the home gardening of babyhood. It’s free, it’s good for everyone, but it takes effort, and the results are worth it.
