Modern cloth diapers are designed to make cloth diapering easy for every-day people.
We believe that cloth diapering should be as inexpensive and as simple as using disposables. And with bumGenius, Flip or Econobum, it is! These cloth diaper systems are an everyday solution meant to replace disposables. This means that these diapers can be used over and over at any given time on any given day. Despite what some may think, cloth diapers aren’t just for special occasions — but those HTF prints may be 😉
For this week’s giveaway, we want people to choose cloth diapers every day and feel good doing so. Three people will win one bumGenius, Flip or Econobum diaper of their choice and a pair of bumGenius BabyLegs.
To enter, tell us why cloth diapers are (or will be) the best option for your family.

We are cloth diapering our 6th baby, so we have saved a ton of money and the environment. That is why cloth diapers are best for our family!
They are super cute and cheaper than disposables!
They are the best option because not only are they economical, but they also are more eco-friendly and gentle on my baby’s bum.
They save us a lot of money and they are better for our baby.
Cloth diapers are the best option because they are environmentally friendly. Also, I have a lot of allergies and prefer to avoid exposure to chemicals.
There is no way we could afford 2 kids in disposable diapers!
Cloth save us money – so much ,money!
We’re a pretty eco-conscious family so we plan to cloth diaper when little one arrives. All those chemicals in diapers worries me and it saves money in the long run. And they’re so much cuter than disposables!
Cloth diapers are the best for our family as we will have two in diapers very soon and I won’t have to worry about running out—just making sure that laundry is done. I will save us so much on our budget and help us to save for a bigger house for our growing family! Every little bit counts!
they are the best option for us because they save us so much money, and they make changing diapers super fun!
Cloth diaper Save money, Save Environment and Stylish .
We just had our first a couple of months ago… all throughout my pregnancy I did extensive internet research on cloth diapering. I was so excited to get my stock going, but then the shower rolled over and no one gifted CD. We moved into a bigger apartment to accommodate our growing family…
It was a wonderful feeling to set up a nursery for my daughter, but I just sat there staring at our disgusting disposable diapers. I can’t believe with all my efforts I still ended up with disposables. We would love cloth diapers to show our family and friends who’ve doubted their efficiency that they’re amazing and not a thing of the past. I also would love to start a mommy blog soon so this would give me a good head start for product reviews!
My husband got laid off when I was pregnant with my son, cloth diapers saved us so much needed money!
It would just save us so much money
I am pregnant with my 3rd child. I have never cloth diapered before, but I am looking forward to trying it this time. There is no way I would be able to afford disposables this time around. When researching ways to save money I came across cloth diapers and the more I read, the more I am convinced this is the way to go.
We love cloth because of the money we saved. Plus I enjoy the cute colors and prints!
We cloth diapered with my first, and we just find it to be the most economical, healthy, and eco-friendly choice for diapering!
I loooooooove cloth diapers! It not only is GREAT for baby, it’s environmentally friendly, suuuuper cute, and keeps in the mess— as in no Poo-splosions! ICK!
Cloth Diapers are for my family because they save us money that I can spend on Food.
Cloth diapers will be the best for my little guy and my family because we are doing our part to treat the environment better and we get to save money! Thank you!
cloth diapering gives me such pride. I like to recycle as much as I can, be it cding, composting, etc. plus it’s been better for baby.
We have saved so much money, and plus my son breaks out in a rash from disposables. It has ended up being a win win for us!
Now that I’m expecting baby #2 and will have two in diapers , it seems like the perfect time to finally take the cd plunge!
Cloth diapers will be best for our family for two reasons. 1-we are a one income family right now while my husband is in school. We could use that money elsewhere. 2- We want to minimize our children’s exposure to chemicals, especially in infancy.
I am a mother to a 14 month of beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately, we have not been in a great position to purchase cloth diapers. I came upon this site by searching for giveaways to help. Since my daughter was about 1 month old when she started getting a mild red rash around her belly button where the outside of her diaper met the skin, and the inside of her thighs, I decided to switch to cloth. I have been able to buy 6 cloth diapers since then. I have to do laundry twice a day to keep them clean and in rotation. For us, purchasing disposables every few weeks doesn’t make sense, cost wise or environmentally, but most important for my daughters skin. We can not afford organic diapers to see if they would help, but I am hoping around tax season to be able to buy several! Thanks for reading:)
We started using cloth to save money and now enjoy the cuteness and reliability too!
I wish we had cd’ed our first son. I treat it like a hobby
We started using cloth on our DS 3.5 years ago for financial reasons, and continue using them on our DD because we love them! They’re so much better for babes skin, and the environment!
Cloth diapers are the best option for my family because, with only one income this saves so much money that we dont need to spend on diapers.
They are better options for us because they save us money and help save the environment.
Cloth diapers are the best option for us because it saves us money. and it helps the Earth which our future generations are going to inherit!
Cloth diapers are better for us because they’re better for the planet
Cloth diapers are cheaper and I know what’s touching his skin.
They’re adorable and a cost saver! Excited to use them.
Im hoping it will be cheaper anf I know it will be better for the environment.
they are the best option bc they save us so much money
Cloth diapering is th best because it is good for the environment, and saves you money in the long run.
We wanted to try them because of the environmental aspect. The money savings, cuteness and infrequency of leaks (compared to disposables) have totally won us over! The increased laundry burden really hasn’t been as bad as I was worried about – even for two working parents it is very manageable.
We would love to save money!
We are due with our first VERY SOON but we are going to exclusively cloth diaper because it will help save us money for more important baby purchases as well as protect my little one from chemicals. I love that I can give my baby the best option while still saving the environment! 🙂
Cloth diapers are the best option for our children because we had a horrible experience with disposable pamper diapers. I changed my newborn one night as normal and noticed she got a litte fussy. Ok no big deal.. I fed her, burped her, and still fussy. I finally thought to change her diaper again thinking she might have peed and got fussy again. Pulled the diaper off to hear a big peice of glass fall from my newborns bum! I look on her backside to find an imprint of the huge sharp peuce of glass in her skin! Luckily it sat perfectly to not cut her skin. But never again will I put a disposable duaper on my babies! I’d rather know what’s on my child’s behind!
Cost and ease are our two main reasons.
My baby has sensitive skin
Cloth is the best option for my son because they are chemical free!
number one reason is saving money!
My daughter pooped up the back of every single diaper when wearing disposables. Using cloth I don’t have to worry about all her clothes getting stained up. I’m also saving a ton of money since I have 2 in cloth now.
They are cost effective!
Cloth is the best option for us because it’s earth friendly, saves money, and we can reuse for future babies!
Because it makes my kid THAT much more adorable. But seriously.. its so much cheaper.
I’m a first time cloth diaper mom, but I recently purchased BG and I’d love more to add to my stash!
Saves money & bums!
No harsh chemicals, we’re not adding to the massive amount of trash already in landfills, and they’re super cute!
I love using cloth because my daughter hasn’t had a diaper rash since switching over. Her cloth diapers are so much cuter than disposables, we’re saving money and time by not having to worry about buying diapers in the right sizes while we’re at the store, and washing isn’t hard at all.
I love her cute little tush in her cloth.
Cloth diapers are our best option because they save us tons of money! Plus, my daughters have sensitive skin so the cloth is less irritating to them. 🙂
Cloth is best for babies skin and mommy’s wallet!!!
With two in diapers, cloth is inexpensive. And my kids have sensitive skin and cloth does not give them rashes like disposables do.
Cloth is best for us because it is better on my sons sensitive bum, saves us money and is easier on the environment!
We have no income after my layoff, so not having to pay for disposables all the time is a must.
We will be able to afford more for our family because we aren’t buying disposables!
I grew up in a cloth diapering household, so to me this is just doing what my mom did but using more modern equipment. My husband loves how much less trash we create.
To help save money, to be more eco-friendly, and they are really cute.
Saving money and way less garbage.
My baby boy is 10 months old and I had not one diaper rash or poopy blowouts with cloth. Few times I used disposibles, I had major blowouts up to his neck and diaper rash galore. “I hate disposibles!” Bumgenius with a stay dry inner lining and an extra insert is my savior for my baby sleeping 8-10 straight hours at night because he doesn’t wake up with a cold wet soppy diaper. It’s so soft and healthy on his butt and It’s just so fashionably freaking cute! It looks more smart and expensive looking than a generic plasticky paper disposible diaper. My pediatrician was very impressed when he saw my baby had on cloth diapers and said he cloth diapered too. But mainly mainstream Luvs, Huggies, and Pampers disposible diapers gross me out with their toxic granule absorbers and nasty chemicals. Plus the perfume smell is so strong I have an allergic reaction to them. It’s nice to know I’m not adding to the landfills he will one day be inheriting. I feel proud, responsible, and special cloth diapering. I cloth diaper because I LOVE, LOVE my baby and he’s worth it.
We like cloth diapers because they save money, are better for baby and are so cute!
Cloth diapers are super cute and no diaper rash!
We have eight kids. Every penny counts and cloth diapers save money for us.
Cloth is the best option for my family because it means I don’t have to budget and plan to make sure I have enough diapers in the house. I have enough going on!
We know that cloth diapers are good for the baby and good for the environment.
Cloth diapers are the best option for our family because they save us so much money and we can use them with our future children as well. They allow us so much freedom with extra time and money. Plus they are great for the environment and are so much cuter than disposables! They also save our son from rashes that he had in disposables.
Cloth diapers are better for our baby and our budget.
We use cloth diapers exclusively because I don’t want to put more disposables in the landfills. Also, in spite of my obsession with collecting more cloth and all the extra rinse cycles I do on wash day, I think we’re still saving money.
Cloth diapering has been the best option for us because we can save a lot of money and since our son is allergic to sposies, it is the only way to go for us !
I am new to cloth diapering and I’m excited to try becauae we spend way to much on showcasing diapers because my daughter is allergic to every kind! Super excited to try them!
They won’t be in landfills for 500+ years later.
Cloth diapers save us so much money over disposables.
We dont have a lot of money and cloth diapering was a way that we could ease the budget a little bit so that we didnt have to cut other things out!
We’re slowly building up our stash & switching over to cloth because my daughter has sensitivities to disposable diapers. Bonus: it will save us money in the long run, especially if we have a second baby. 😉
I use cloth diapers 90% to save money and 10% because it’s healthier for baby and planet.
We cd to cut on unnecessary spending (though CB doesn’t help with that. Lol)
The most natural option!
Disposables give my daughter rashes
We love being able to wash and reuse instead of throwing every diapee away to spend years in a landfill!
we cloth diaper to save money, cut back on waste and for convenience.
I use CDs everyday because they cost less in the long run and are super cute. We don’t have a huge garbage can/bill because of disposables either. Saving money and the planet…what could be better?
Using BumGenius Freetimes and I am so excited for how this will help our family financially and also broaden others horizons to use cloth diapers by seeing us use them! Many people have no idea how simple they are now!
Cloth diapers are the best option because it means less chemicals on the bum!
They save money and are better for the environment!

With our third on the way, cloth diapers have proved to be cheapest option!
We cloth diaper to save money, and bc they are cute colors and prints!
Cloth diapers save me time (on not cleaning up blowouts!) and money!
We have saved so much money with cloth and are glad to be doing are part in reducing waste! Plus a fluffy butt is just so cute! 🙂
I’m a sahm and cloth is more economical in the long run – plus, they’re super cute!
Cloth diapering will be the best option because of the money saved! We are expecting number two in January and I cannot afford another $1000+/year in diapers and wipes. Plus I hate the idea of all of that going into the landfill.
Cloth diapers are the best choice for my family because of the money we save! Since we don’t have to shell out money for disposable diapers and wipes every week, we’re able to use that money for little extras, like a trip to the movies or an afternoon at the zoo.
I just had my second and am getting back into cloth diapers because they’re so cute! They make changing diapers SO much more fun!! I might say it’s bc it’s better for the environment or cheaper…but really it’s mostly just such a fun way to accessorize!
Saving money and the environment!
They are reusable! Eco-friendly and a much cheaper option. An added bonus is how easy they really are. Easier than remembering to pick up diapers. Enough said.
I love cloth, they look cute, are better for the environment, and will save us a ton of money. Oh and I don’t have poo-splosions like I did in the few disposables I’ve used!! Yay for the fluff!
Cloth diapers are the best for our family because we have 4 kiddos which would be a LOT of money spent on diapers and a LOT of waste. We have used Bum Genius since our first child in 2008 and are still going strong on number 4! We LOVE our cloth diapers, so does our pocket book 🙂
It helps us save money so I can be a stay at home mom!
Cloth diapers are the best for my family because they save us from having to throw extra stuff in the trash, which keeps more out of our landfills. They also save us quite a bit of cash and that’s always a good thing!
We are foster/adopt parents and I love the fact that I can diaper any age or size child who is placed with us without a 3am trip to the grocery store. I’ve cloth diapered two infants in the past until they were reunited with family as toddlers, and right now I have a two year old in Flips and elementals full time and her three year old sister in flips trainers and 4.0s at night. We will be adopting these two and their two older siblings, then we will go back on the foster list for another infant at some point. It’s nice to know when we do my stash will be ready and waiting!
We use cloth diapers every week to save money and to up the cute factor for all outfits! Love cottonbabies and all your hard work!!
B. No more diaper rash!!!
We have been using bumGenius diapers since my now almost 2.5 yr old was 1 month old. My hubby works for a non-profit and we have to raise money for our salary and other expenses every month, so it’s nice not having to spend money on diapers every month! I also love that I can continue to use these same diapers with my baby that’s due in December, and I never have to worry about running out of diapers!
We use cloth diapers to save money and they look really cute too.
We LOVE our cloth diapers. They work out great for our family. We currently use them for our 11 month old, and plan to use them for any future kiddos. They have been great for helping us save money by not buying disposables. Plus, who doesn’t love a big cloth diapered butt on a skinny baby! So adorable 🙂
Cloth diapers have been a life-saver in our house! My kid pees so much at night and in the morning– thanks to cloth diapers, I don’t have worry about changing him at night or waking up to wet PJs and wet sheets. Just double stuff those pocket diapers and we’re good to go!
Cloth diapers are the best choice for our family because it saves us money, saves me stress from blowouts (about 2 since I started cloth, 3764647474 when I used disposables!), and they keep chemicals away from their private parts compared to disposables
Besides saving us money I love the fact that I don’t have to worry that any animals were tested upon or harmed to make these diapers. I know it will take some getting use to but since are starting out from the beginning with our first child, it’s not like we’ll have much to compare it to 🙂
I use CD every day and love it!! I first tried the cheaper pocket diapers but have sense switched to bumgenius AIO and I am in love! They are so easy to use and take the stress out of CD. The reason I chose to use cloth everyday is because it’s better for my son, better for my wallet, better for the environment and most of all the diapers are so darn cute!
So I have one less thing to worry about, running out of disposables and the expenses to constantly buy them.
Cloth diapers are the best option for our family because they save money, are super cute and I actually LIKE doing laundry.
They are the best for our family and earth! Reduse. Reuse.

It saves us a lot of money!
We don’t always use cloth every day, but we try to. The “change 3 things” campaign really stuck with me a few years ago. It helps me to remember that even a little bit helps.
After disposable diapers broke open and exploded their chemicals all over my child I will never go back! Cloth is so much softer and less scary!
We use cloth diapers because it’s best for the earth and Hunter was born on Earth day, so it just makes sense, and more economical considering he’s number five.
Cloth diapers are great because you never run out of diapers, they’re easier on delicate baby skin, and not left filling up a landfill! We love BG, Flip and Mom and Gram’s homemade creations!
I plan to stay home after our twins are born. We will need to cut expenses everywhere we can. Cloth diapers are the best option for our family because we will not be dumping money down the drain to purchase disposables!
I started using cloth diapers to save money. I’m a single mom with no help from her dad. On a tight income I knew I could save tons by switching. I love my flips! 🙂
Cloth is best because it saves us money and our baby never has a rash or blowout! Who wants to pay for trash to throw away? A bonus: our trash can never smells like diapers!
Cloth diapers will be the best choice for my family because they are the most economical option for diapering a baby!
Cloth diapering frees up money for more fun family activities!
I cloth diaper all day, everyday, because we’re saving money, the world, and my baby’s bottom with each diaper change!
The cuteness of a fluffy butt is an added perk 🙂
They are the best option for our family because we are penny pinching to get out of student loan debt!
They are so darned cute!
With 2 in diapers and 1 on the way, I don’t have to worry about finding the correct size diaper for each kid. I can grab one and quickly adjust the snaps as needed. I also save a ton of money by using cloth diapers and wipes.
They are the best option for us because we are saving money with our daughter, and plan to pass them down with at least 2 more babies, so we will save a lot of money with them. It just makes sense!
Cloth is the best option for my family as it saves us money, it is best for my babies skin. I don’t run out of them in the middle of the night and I know we’re doing a little bit for the planet by not piling up landfills.
I love the fact that I’m reusing the same diapers for my second baby as I used for my first… And I’ve already spent all the money diapers that I’m gonna to! 🙂
Cloth Dave’s us money, reduces waste, and means I never run out of diapers. And, I always have the right size in the diaper bag, and never buy a new package just to find out that baby’s having a growth spurt and outgrowing them. Wish I had used them with my older kids!
Cloth works for us because we couldn’t afford buying disposables and they are too cute
Cloth is best for us because we want less waste, no chemicals and don’t mind the extra laundry.
I really love cloth diapers because they’re so cute and save us money!
Cloth diapers are for us because we try to save money where we can.
I love the simplicity of cloth. No running out last minute to buy diapers, no heavy loads of stinky trash. Besides, they are cute!
Cloth diapering saves money, the environment, and keeps harmful chemicals away from my baby’s skin. It just works for us!
If I can save money on diapers, I can put that money toward healthy foods, family outings, etc. I don’t want to spent tons of money on something my baby poops in. Heehee.
I am expecting my second child this winter and very excited to cloth diaper this time around! The potential cost savings and an adorable fluffy bum are two of my favorite reasons why we are ditching the disposables!
Cloth diapers are the best option for my family because they aren’t harsh on my babies delicate bottom and they are better for the environment! 🙂
They are the best option for our family’s budget, we save so much money!
It might take more time to wash them and dry them, but at least there won’t be any late night runs to the store for disposables. Plus, we won’t have to buy the whole litany of cremes for diaper rashes from all the terrible chemicals. We care about the environment and don’t want to be throwing all that plastic and trash away every day!
