My “me” time – getting to go to the bathroom alone, ha.
During my “me” time in the evenings, I snuggle with my hubby, watch Mad Men or Downton Abbey, and also catch up on facebook and the Flash Mob! I also do global health mission trips to developing countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, Haiti and Belize to teach nurses, midwives and doctors about newborn health, care for mothers and babies during childbirth, and instruct on proper neonatal resuscitation.

These days it’s fairly boring, just sleeping or reading. But I do love it!
During my “me” time I like to make homemade body products, such as lotion, body scrubs & hand sanitizer. It makes me feel good to make products by hand for me & my family with ingredients that are not filled with toxic chemicals.

I like to read but don’t get a lot of “me” time lately. My free time is usually spent doing laundry and cleaning. Usually my me time is in the shower or bath and even then i often have a toddler wander in on me 🙂
Get out in the sun (with sunscreen of course)! Whether it is gardening, a nap on the beach, or reading a book on the porch, my time is best spent in the fresh air.

After the kiddo is in bed, and the husband finds a particularly unappealing show to watch, I hop in a nice hot bath and read a book until the water turns cold. Nice way to unwind at the end of the day.
