
Earth Day is coming up and we’re going green! Literally. And we want to help more people do the same.
By now, you already know cloth diapers are eco-friendly and can help reduce your carbon footprint by keeping waste out of landfills. You also probably know that cloth diapers can save you a ton of money! So why not share all the great benefits of cloth diapers in honor of Earth Day and help even more people go green?

We have started cloth diapering, using cloth wipes, and cloth paper towels. Recycling and using reusable grocery bags are also ways our family tries to be more green.

Our twins will be born by a scheduled c-section on April 22nd, Earth Day. They will be our perfect reminders to reduce, reuse, and recycle whenever possible. By using cloth diapers, we know we will help the Earth just a little more.

We cloth diaper and use cloth wipes. We do other small things, no lights during the day, everything is usually unplugged unless using, we take shorter showers, always turn water off while brushing our teeth, and we always put our less dirty dishes in the soaking sink first so we don’t have to keep refiling the sink because the water gets to gunky. We buy from farmers markets, and I love to reuse things and sew them into something new.

We recycle ALL paper, plastic, and aluminum. We use cloth diapers and wipes. I also use cloth breast pads when I’m nursing. We also support local farms to buy our produce and meat and reducing our carbon footprint by not buying foods that have to be brought in by other modes of transportation.
We ‘go green’ in small ways…recycle more than throw away, use cloth over disposable, bring bags to grocery, organic fabrics for new cloths, homemade cleaning products…no ONE big thing just small ones that add up.
We CD, eat and use organic products whenever possible, recycle, are in the process of looking for more fuel efficient vehicles and if we lived where we could have a garden we would. We are trying to live more green!
