The washing machine does all the work! Plus, cloth isn’t as messy as disposables so I have less to clean in general.

Cloth diapers are just as easy as disposable. The snaps make it harder for baby to take them off, though. One of my favorite things about cloth diapers is NEVER needing to run out to the store because you’re running low, or out of disposables.

I bought my first cloth diaper just a few days ago. I have four children, and I am pregnant with my fifth. My youngest is two and we are working on potty training. She was running low on her disposables, and I was dreading the thought of buying more. I discussed the idea of cloth diapering with my DH, and he was concerned about cost, smell, and what to do with the poop. I had read your blog posts so I was armed with answers! He said “Let’s try it out.” Well, we have three diapers in our stash, but my husband and I are totally sold on CDs! He even changed our daughter’s dirty diaper like a champ… So if my husband can do it, it MUST be easy! However, I can see the benefit in having several diapers in rotation, but for now, I can only afford to slowly build but even still — it’s so much easier than I thought it would be!

Cloth diapering is easy: on the budget, on the bum, on the environment! I think it is fun. It’s adorable! The wash routine is not as dcarsscary as some imagine. Just use detergent without softener, prerinse cold, hot wash heavy, 2 rinses done!

I find cloth diapering easy because there are so many ways to do it to suit everyone’s needs. Such as AIOs, AI2s, covers, fitteds, prefolds, pockets, etc. On top of that there are many brands for people to try, I personally find cloth diapering easy because the washer does all the hard work and it saves me money and the environment on a daily basis.

Cloth diapers are so much better then disposable diapers in so many ways. Let me start with the obvious they are do much better for our planet earth, and do much better for your baby’s skin. When my son was born he instantly had diaper rash
We went threw every cream on the market including prescription creams . We also tried every disposable diaper out there and still he had such a horrible rash . Finally we found cloth diapers and I promise you my son has had no signs of rash since. We are so grateful for cloth diapers.

Cloth diapering is easy because of my diaper liners, I love being able to pull that out and flush it for poppy diapers and then just throw the diaper in the wash. I also love knowing I’m not filling up the landfill with diapers and I love all the money I’m able to save my family by using cloth diapers!

Cloth diapering lends itself to such an easy routine. Change diapers regularly, wash, dry and start over. Less stressful for me than worrying about when I will need to buy more disposables.

  • Michael I. said...

I cloth diapered with my first two children using prefolds from a diaper service. It wasn’t hard, except for diapering outside the home, not fun on changing tables especially. Now, I’ve just begun the adventure of cloth diapering twins. I did a ton of research, decided that pockets were too much work considering how often and how many I would be stuffing. Husband is not supportive, so, I chose AIO’S to help get him on board and make it as easy on us as possible, since he claims he will not do the laundry.

So far, I’m loving the ease of all in ones. It really is practically as easy as disposables. I have to figure out the folds as they grow, but that is it. I cannot wait to get my husband on board. Once he sees how easy it really is, I think he’ll change his mind. Once I switch to cloth wipes, it will be even easier because I can just toss them in the diaper and put everything in the wet bag.

Coming from someone who has used “sposies” for the past 3.5 years total (still using them because my 18 month old had serious sensitivity issues with cloth and is gearing up to start potty training soon anyhow)….Using cloth is pretty much the same. Only, instead of taking them out to the dumpster…I dump them in the washing machine.

  • Jenni F said...
    June 26, 2015 at 8:21 pm

  • Sarah H said...

I think cloth diapering is easy because you save money in the long run! Also because my son hasnt had any diaper rashes in cloth, and I imagine if he was in disposable diapers he would have had at least one. I don’t have to worry about diaper rashes. Also they smell really good because you can wash them with whatever you want and disposables smell chemicaly.

Cloth diapering, especially with pocket diapers, is easy because you put it on, get it dirty, and take it off just like a disposable. You have a little cleaning to do, but hey, it’s just a load of extra dirty laundry right? You yank out the inserts, wash the inserts, wash the covers, restuff and then they are ready to use again! No bag of stinky disposables fouling up your trash bin, no running to the store at 3 am because you ran out, and your budget will thank you for saving $2000+ over a two year period (more if you use them on more than one kid!).

When I run out, I don’t have to go to the store (dragging my kids behind me)… I just do laundry!

Cloth diapers are EASIER than paper because we have little to no blowouts in our freetimes! In paper we have blow outs all the time. Cloth diapers= less mess to clean.

Cloth diapering is easy because your already doing laundry so adding a couple extra loads isn’t hard.

as a first time mommy i found after a little research even i can cloth instead of using sposies. My husband and I work full time and it is easier to throw our stash in the washer than having to go to the store, or remember to go to the store, every time we run out of disposables.

I think it’s easier than I initially thought. Once I figured out the wash routine that worked for us, it was a breeze!

Cloth diapers are so easy – no running to the store or almost running out, less blowouts, and they help keep me on top of other laundry too!

It’s easy because you don’t have to worry about running out, affording more, or anything like that.

don’t know exactly how to put it into words other than: it is easy. Because it really is easy. Lots of moms say they can’t. But I always say, yes you can. Its not hard like you might think it is. Stop saying you can’t.

Cloth diapers are as easy to change as disposals and we have to do laundry anyway…what’s an extra load!!!
