Are you awake? If so, what are the chances you’re feeding your baby or changing a diaper? Probably pretty high.
When it comes to using cloth diapers, keeping your little one dry through the night may seem impossible. (Hence why you’re up changing a wet diaper right now.) But with 100-percent certified Hemp products from Hemp Babies, you can add extra absorbency to any cloth diaper and keep your baby dry, so say goodbye to those soaked sheets and clothes! Hemp Babies were created for heavy wetters or parents who prefer a more natural solution on their child’s bottom.
For this week’s giveaway, we want to make your overnights a bit easier and help you keep your baby dry overnight. Three people will win a Hemp Babies product of their choice and a Flip One-Size Diaper Cover.
To enter, tell us your overnight cloth diaper routine.

My first baby is due this summer, so no routine yet. But it’s good to read about yours, so I can get ideas!
We havent started nights but when I do we will use sbish obf with a cover
We don’t have a cloth diapering routine because we don’t have a child yet. Entering to win for a friend!
We still have to use disposables for night time :/
I’m new to cloth diapers so right now (once) a funky fluff stay dry … I only own 4 diapers so far
My current nighttime routine is a Flip cover with 3 bamboo inserts… we need a new routine! It takes all my bamboo inserts for 3 nights with our current one 🙁
I don’t have one yet. I have a heavy wetter, and he seems to leak through everything!
I don’t have a nighttime routine yet because we are still awaiting the arrival of our little one! I plan on using a prefold and diaper cover.
I haven’t used cloth before. No overnight routine yet.
Geffen hemp/fleece prefold inside a flip cover. Never a leak!
We use a Flip diaper with two cotton inserts, one folded double so there’s triple protection in the wettest zone.
We will be starting our cloth diapering journey in April when our baby girl is born
We use disposables at night.
We use a 4.0 with a hemp insert and extra booster right now
Prefolds and covers or prefolds and covers 🙂
prefold with a hemp booster! works great!
Right now we use a freetime diaper with a stay dry-doubler insert. We just received our Bigger Weeds in the mail, can’t wait to try them out!
We don’t have an overnight routine yet, as we are still awaiting the arrival of our first LO! I plan to try several different overnights in our first stash, though!
A tot’s bot fitted with a babykicks hemp doubler and a flip or wool cover. So far it has been bulletproof.
we currently use disposables at night since every cloth option we have tried so far has ended with soaking wet baby or toddler and wet sheets 🙁
generally i use fitteds, with hemp babies doublers and either a flip cover, or wool.
I don’t have a routine I will in about 7 months!
I haven’t delivered yet so don’t have a routine. But really want to get started with cloth diapers & to learn from others’ routines!
flip with two thirsties hemp inserts
No overnight routine yet here! I’d love to try wool!
Overnight cloth diaper routine is bumGenius 4.0 with hemp.
I’ve been using disposables at night because I’m still not brave enough to try cloth. I would love to win this giveaway and face that fear!
My overnight cloth diapering routine has evolved recently as my petite DD has had leaking around the leg gussets with most of the diapers in our stash. Lately, I’ve had success with using either a Rumparooz pocket or Thirsties One Size pocket filled with a shaped hemp doubler and the regular 2 inserts that came with the pocket diapers. I’ve heard good things about Flip as an option for skinny minis, so would look forward to trying it out if I win.
We mostly use Kawaii pockets with two microfiber inserts and a hemp babies hemp doubler or thirsties hemp insert. We also have a couple fitteds that we use at night.
Disposable with a flip. Over night is intimidating with my heavy wetters!
We use a flip overnight prefold stuffed into a 4.0!
I use a bum Genius 4.0 with an additional hemp insert for overnights.
These sounds amazing. As my son gets older we are more worried with keeping him dry overnight. Currently we put a booster and a hemp and that does okay but we may have to add another hemp
We use pockets with a cbi and a prefold wrapped around a mf underneath the cbi
My baby isn’t due till the end of April but for overnights I plan on using fitted and covers.
I use a 4.0 with both inserts for my 21 month old
Overnight sposies :-/ we dont have enough absorbent inserts or reliable covers to CD overnight.
Currently we are using Freetimes with a hemp doubler layered underneath the built in inserts for nighttime. It is working great 🙂
We use a bum genius free time with a bamboo insert on top. Usually works pretty well for our heavy wetter.
For bedtime, we are currently using a Flip or a Thristies Duo Wrap with a flat tri folded around a help insert & a BG Stay Dry liner on top. It’s been holding up awesome since we started using it last week!
I don’t have my little one yet (due in May), but we’re trying Kissaluvs, Pooters, and GMD Workhorse diapers for overnight at first…
Overnight, we use a bamboo fitted, a hemp booster, and a wool cover. So far, so good!
We use sloomb obf + hemp insert with wool cover. My 2 yo soaks through everything else.
We either use a Pooters bamboo fitted under Disana woolies or a pad folded flat placed in a Sustainablebabyish flat, with that Snappi’d on under Disana woolies.
I don’t have one yet, but I hear great things about hemp, fitteds, and wool covers in the attempt to keep dry!
Right now, all we are using is the Old Style Elementals. They are great.
Don’t have an overnight system yet (52 days!), but we’re starting baby out in BG newborns and prefolds/covers, so whichever of those works best is what we’ll start out with!
We still do disposable at night (cloth all day), because we haven’t found something we’re super comfortable with yet; so want to make the switch though!
prefold and a cover
Right now it’s a bumgenius 4.0. My son is younger and isnt much of a heavy wetter yet. Thinking I will need a hemp liner soon.
I don’t cloth diaper at night because nothing I have will hold up to my heavy wetter! I need some stronger inserts.
I just double up on the micro fiber inserts.
My nighttime diaper routine is a diaper safari pocket with 2 geffen inserts and an extra hemp!
We use hemp an FST and a flip cover
We use hemp and hemp cotton blends in a cover. I have been wanting to try fitteds now that my boy is getting bigger
Right now we do fitteds with a cover.
We usually use fitted diapers for overnight for our little side sleeper. Would love to win some hemp to possibly add to it and a new Flip cover!
fitted (we have various ones) with a geffen absorber under a wool cover. for both kids!
I don’t have a nighttime routine yet, I won’t start CD until May when my baby arrives. I do have a few fitteds that I’m planning on trying for nighttime when the time comes.
We use either a flip cover with a stay dry and organic insert or a double stuffed pocket diaper.
We use a Flip cover, a regular length Flip insert, and 2 newborn Flip inserts at night.
We use an AI2 solution, but our Albert Flip with a hemp prefold wrapped around a microfiber towel is our backup.
I use BumGenius 4.0 with the microfiber insert and a thirsty hemp insert. I also really like the hook and loops at nice since it is easier in the dark. I have wanted to try the hemp baby doublers.
We still use disposables overnight. 🙁
My routine is to get hubby to change the diapers! (or use fitteds)
I currently use either ‘sposies or a hemp doubler wrapped in a prefold with a fleece liner inside a large sized cover for my oldest, and either flips & flats or ‘sposies for my youngest.
When I do cloth overnight, I use a Flip cover with an organic Flip insert
Our overnight is a Flip cover and bamboo prefold.
This would be awesome! I have given up on cloth diapering at night because of the strong smell when the kids wake up. Maybe this would be better!!
We don’t have an overnight routine yet… baby is still in the womb 🙂 But I’m interested to hear what everyone else has to say!
We use our same day diapers, just change him when he wakes up in the night.
At night we use two thirsties hemp prefolds inside a flip cover!
Interested in this new product. Have not tried Hemp before.
We did flips but switched to kawaii with doubler and hemp doubler for my toddler. My infant is in disposables bc I need new flip covers and to get back in the swing of it
4.0 stuffed with a blueberry cotton flat
We don’t have a good overnight diaper. We have been lucky this week.
We use a flip organic overnight with a hemp booster so this would be a totally appropriate prize for us 😉
We currently use an AIO with a hemp boaster.
I currently use a 3.0 pocket diaper, a flip organic night insert, and a Prefold in the middle. It’s really thick so I am interested in finding thinner fabrics that may work.
Our overnight routine is currently changing due to over saturation.
We currently use a freetime or double stuffed 4.0.
We use a flip cover with two of the stay-dry inserts. It’s bulky, but it’s never let us down.
I don’t have one yet
Currently disposables. It’s the only thing that works and doesn’t cause a rash. Still hoping for a cloth solution one day!
I use disposables at night. My son has slept on his tummy from week 1 and my cloth leak if it’s longer than three hours.
Currently using good mamas with a cover or a 4.0 pocket double stuffed with a bamboo doubler
For nighttime, I use a flip cover with a prefold trifolded into a rectangle wrapped around a newborn microfiber doubler.
Fitteds with flip covers are our favorite nighttime solution.
We use a Kawaii pocket stuffed with a flat, Thirsties insert, and Hemp Babies doubler.
Right now we are using the BumGenius 3.0, but have a heavy wetter, so I’m wanting to try somthing new. 🙂
I don’t have one yet; first baby due in 7 weeks 🙂
For my 8 month old we use a freetime with and extra insert underneath the flaps. For my 2 year old we use Kawaii Goodnight Heavy Wetter with a microfiber, hemp/bamboo, and a charcoal insert.
For my 6 month old we use a freetime with some kind of insert. Last night the insert was bamboo, and so far, no leaks! =D
My new clothed baby is still cooking, but we always liked wool and fitteds.
We are new to cloth diapering since our son was born in December. So we are just trying to figure out our routine but we seem to have a heavy wetter on our hands as of recently. We were doing bumGenius 4.0 (as that’s what we use) overnight, but had to switch to disposable due to leakage. Looking to try the Hemp Babies to see if that will help 🙂
I am expecting my first child in April so I haven’t stared cloth diapering yet. My plan for my newborn is to use all in ones at night.
Right now we are disposables at night. Baby steps!
I have been using a flip, and an infant insert, and another flip all together to keep my little guy dry. I would love to try the hemp products, but funds are tight right now…winning would be awesome!!!
We use overnight OBF sbish, with a best bottom cover….but ready to upgrade to a bigger size in the cover!
i don’t have one!!! We rarely have leaked overnight but on the occasion we do, we all wake up wet!
My current youngest is night training so we just have her in a pocket diaper with one microfiber insert. She is doing pretty good with not wetting. I’m not sure what we’ll do for our newest little one once arrived. I am very interested in trying hemp. I think I’ll stay away from synthetics this time since we’ve had issues with odor and ammonia burns.
My toddler is day trained, but still uses a toddler prefold and a flip cover or a 4.0 with the regular OS insert and a hemp insert for overnight. My 6 month old uses a 4.0 with the OS and newborn inserts. I’d love some more hemp so I could use it overnight for both kids! And yes, you’re right, I am up feeding the baby.
My overnight cloth diaper routine is a prefold wrapped around a microfiber insert or two microfiber inserts in a pocket diaper. I have been considering hemp.
I don’t have a routine yet, but I hope to soon!
Double stuffed 4.0 with Microfleece and hemp doubler.
We use a bamboo fitted under a Flip.
I’m still trying to find a good night time routine. Sometimes we still use disposables, sometimes we use a kissaluv fitted or an organic cotton prefold under a Flip. We are still in the “experimenting” phase
a Freetime with a hemp insert for extra absorbency
A preemie prefold wrapped in a larger prefold covered with a Flip, or a pocket/4.0 stuffed with a preemie prefold as a booster sandwiched between the two inserts that 4.0s come with.
We usually do 2 FST with cover. Have a baby on the way, never cd’d a nb… curiously seeking solutions for ebf nb?
Our overnight routine is a freetime with a doubler (folded in half and stuffed under the first flap). So far so good, but we’re not quite ready to toilet train – I think we’ll be seeing some hemp in our future.
I never figured out cloth diapering overnight with my first child, but am finally finding a solution with #2. Currently, I use a piece of fleece under it all to keep his skin dry, then I use the large joeybunz insert inside of a kissaluvs hemp fitted diaper. Over that I have a osocozy large prefold, then a thirsties diaper cover and a disana wool soaker. The inserts, fitted diaper, and prefold are still all wet in the morning, but fortunately nothing else is! I tried using the kissaluvs hemp fitted diaper with multiple joeybunz premium hemp inserts and a wool cover, but kept getting compression leaks. I’d like not to use the PUL cover so that everything is breathable, but I think the fleece at least keeps the skin dry and rash-free.
We stuff a hemp prefold into a 4.0 or trifold into a flip and use a fleece liner over top.
Our night time routine is either fitted and wool or bg, mf and hemp inserts.
We use a flip with a microfiber insert wrapped in a prefold.
Half of the time I use 2 prefolds and a hemp booster with a flip cover the other half I use sposies :/
Our overnight diaper routine includes a flour sack towel and two hemp doublers.
Currently I am diapering a newborn, so no overnight routine yet. My others I used sposies at night. I hope to find success with nighttime cloth with this baby.
Flip stuffed with an overnight insert and a moraki hemp insert!
I need these! My daughter leaks through everything I have tried! So I just use disposable. 🙁
Using disposable diapers at night now, haven’t had the funds to dive into overnight options right now.
Hoping to win! I am building up my cloth diapers and could use a hand! Thanks!
We are TTC so no overnight routine yet 🙂
right now just a freetime with an extra bamboo insert, but need something more absorbent for my toddler!
Winning this giveaway would be amazing, my fiancé cut me off on buying any cloth diapers for now. Spent too much this month. Oops!
Baby is only 5 weeks old, so a prefold and cover is still working since we’re up every 2 hours to change her diaper and nurse!
I put an one hemp insert with a newborn microfiber on top and I’m good to go!
I actually currently use a flip cover and hemp babies flat for overnight, but I’ve been needing to get some more! This would be awesome to win!
Unfortunately, I never found an overnight solution for baby #1 that kept moisture off his skin enough to not leave what looked like chemical burns. Hoping it works out much better with baby #2.
Our first little one isn’t here yet, but my night time stash is going to include a prefold with hemp doublers and a cover. I’ve heard great things about hemp babies and how absorbent their inserts are. I’ve been wanting a flip cover in Mirror, so I hope I win!
Unfortunately, my overnight solution has come down to disposables. Absolutely nothing we’ve tied has worked and I simply don’t have the money to keep trying.
our overnight routine for diapers is just prefolds and an extra insert. I’ve wanted to look into bamboo or hemp with absorbency.
We do either a disposable, or a bamboi fitted with extra liner and a cover. Since we are still up twice a night, and I have some from MommyCon, I’m trying the bio liner inserts with fitteds. They seem to work okay, but still seeking the “perfect” solution.
We use a flip with two inserts
I don’t have a routine! We used cloth for overnight but she wasn’t comfortable with the bulk. Now I cloth during the day and uses sposies at night 🙁
We use a hemp insert under a microfiber insert
Covers and fitteds or prefolds. Has been working great for us
Fitted and wool. Bulletproof. 🙂
We use a 4.0 stuffed with a flip overnight insert and a hemp babies doubler. Lasts all night!
We use freetimes overnight! 🙂 No leaks!
We use Flips and prefolds! Every night!
4.0 with a prefold and a hemp babies.
Currently, we don’t have a nighttime routine. My husband and I were getting so overwhelmed and stressed we stoped trying to find something good that works for our heavy wetters.
prefold and a diaper cover are working for now.
