Prefolds, pockets, AIOs, hybrids/AI2s, & fitteds! When first home for the hospital, I used prefolds & a diaper service since I didn’t want to do the extra laundry with a newborn. I tried Econobum, Dappi, Prorap, Flip, and Thirsties Duo Wrap covers. The Thirsties were my favorite. I used primarily BG4.0 pockets after that, with a few AIOs for whenever anyone else would be changing the baby. I’ve now decided I prefer AI2s, and am using mostly GroVia hybrid shells w/ Stay Dry soakers. I’ll probably try a few Best Bottoms soon. For nighttime, I had resorted to disposables since everything else seemed to leak. But I recently discovered wool! Now I use fitteds (Kissaluv hybrid contours) with extra stuffing and a wool cover for overnight and no more wet sheets!
On my twin boys I have tried blueberry covers, blueberry pockets, alva pockets, rump a roo covers, kissaluv covers, flip covers and happy heinys. Flip covers are my favorite!
I’m a complete newbie! This is my 3rd and last baby and I would really like to CD this time around.
My family of 5 is on a tight budget so I’m thinking covers and prefolds will suit us best. My baby registries are full of econobums with a few flip, thirsties, and charlie bananas thrown in for expermentation. I’m keeping my fingers crossed my (and a bigger stretch, my husband’s lol) family will really support our decision to cd.
I have tried Flip cover with stay-dry inserts, and Bumgenius 4.0. I think the latter one provides better coverage but Flip is very convenient on the go.
2 different systems: GroBaby and Fuzzibunz one-size
Tried Flip w/Stay Dry, BG 4.0, BG Freetime, and a bunch of Kawaii. LOVE the Flips during the day and 4.0 at night.
I’ve tried the BumGenius all in one, 3.0,4.0, the Econobum, and the Flip. I’ve also used prefolds as well as all in twos and a variety of other brands. I am very happy with all of the BumGenius products I’ve tried 🙂
We’ve tried a bunch since our first baby was born (and she’s only 5 weeks old)! Prefolds & covers, AIOs, and pockets! I just got a wool one size cover in the mail. We haven’t tried fitteds though.
We are just starting out but I’m using Bum 4.0 and Flip which are both great! Wish we had more 4.0’s
None yet, I’m getting ready to cloth diaper my first baby, but I’ve bought several different kinds of diapers to try out.
I can’t pick between 4.0’s and Flips. 4.0’s are perfect for bed time but Flips are so easy and the covers just wipe clean.
Hubby and I are just starting out. We are so excited to try the Bum Genius 4.0 or freetime cant wait to see which is the best fit!
I’ve tried pockets, aio, prefolds, covers
I use pockets and AI2s mostly
We are pretty simply around here, we’ve stuck with Econobum’s for at home and BG’s 4.0 for out and about and swim. We’ve used the BG Stay Dry liner’s, Econobum prefold’s and some Indian Newborn prefold’s early on. Loved them all. Thinking about some Flip trainers for our next stage.
I have tried 3 kinds: Pockets, AIO and AI2 (all one size)
We’ve tried flips w/ microfiber inserts, perfolds & covers, and free times. We have a couple pockets but are not big enough to fit in them yet. I like the free times best. Would like to try the elemental to see how it compares in terms of ease of washing & drying.
I’ve tried a bunch of different systems, not sure how many. Currently using newborn AIOs from 2 different brands. Have also used prefolds and covers.
I’ve tried pockets, All-in-ones and prefolds with a cover.
i only just discovered CLOTH DIAPERS. so i have tons of bum genius 4.0, free time, charlie banana 1 size, fuzzibunz and rockabums. life just got easier and cheaper!
We’ve tried cotton prefolds and pocket diapers. Would love to try the flip system, especially for travelling!
I got advice to stick with one type so hubby & daycare didn’t have to learn multiple systems. Flips w/ stay dry inserts have worked great for us for the past 6mo!
We tried pockets, and the econobums once, I really wanna try all in ones!
I use AI2s , covers and prefolds , and pocket diapers.
We have tried prefolds with covers (flip covers are my favorites) and pockets, BG pockets at night are my favorites! We only have MF inserts but I want to try organic or bamboo…
We purchased a couple of every type, just to see what we would like. In the newborn stage we fell in love with prefolds and covers since they fit the best. We also have 4.0 pockets, elemental aio’s, and lots of flips with different inserts. We mostly use prefolds with the flip covers during the day and i am in love with the flip organic night inserts for overnight. We stuff the night inserts into the 4.0 so baby stays dry. Cloth diapering is so addictive… so many options to try.
We’ve tried the BG Freetimes, Elementals (old style), 4.0s, and newborn diapers. We plan to try out the Flips once I am done prepping them. I also tried using prefolds with a newborn cover when my daughter was still tiny. So, 6 different diapers.
We’ve tried a All in Twos, a few pockets, a couple All in Ones, a fitted with covers. We mostly prefer All in Twos. Our favorite All in One and the only pocket we like is Bumgenius.
I love the BumGenius, but also have the Flip that I still need to try! We just started with cloth diapers with our newborn! 🙂
I’ve tried pockets and prefolds with covers–would love to try an AIO!
so many, except ai2s but ive been wanting to try those for a long time
I’ve tried four different systems: AIOs, pockets, fitteds, prefolds.
We have tried so many I have lost count over 10!
I have only tried bumgenius and I love them!
I’m new to CD’ing and have only purchased BG 4.0’s. can’t wait to purchase different kinds to try out in the future! So many choices!
Ive had tried so many but i always keep some Bgs on hand !
I’ve tried all of your diapering systems except Free Time! I -ac tually prefer different systems for different ages – flips with prefolds for babies older than 15 months, prefolds with sized covers for newborns, and pockets for 2 months to 18 month of so.
I have tried multiple different systems! I love variety and I love trying new diapers! There are too many fun diapers out there to pick just one 🙂
I’ve tried a few different systems… mostly pockets, some AIOs, and I’ve recently started using some fitteds with Econobum and wool covers for my heavy wetter!
My husband and I are just starting out, but so far we have purchased bumgenious 4.0 OS from cottonbabies. Cannot wait to try more. 🙂
My husband and I are just starting out and have only purchased 14 diapers from you so far. But all diapers have been bumgenious 4.0 OS. Cannot wait to try more! 🙂
Prefolds, flats, fitted, pockets, AIO, AI2 in just about every brand. BG 4.0 are out go to. Daycare and hubby love them the best.
Flip, best bottom & bumgenius freetime. The freetimes are our favorite!
I have tried pockets, all-in-ones, and all-in-twos. So far I like the pockets the most!
I have not had my baby yet, but have AIOs, and pocket diapers. Put some Flips on my registry. 🙂 Cannot wait to start using them!
I haven’t tried any systems yet since we don’t have a baby. I’m still researching what system will work best for us but I think we will go with prefold/flats with a cover to save on the cost and amount of laundry.
I have probably tried 8-10 different diapers. I have settled on and love BG 4.0 for day time.
I’m only 4 months pregnant with my first, so I haven’t tried any diapers yet. I have stocked up on some BumGenious 4.0 and Flips from your seconds sale. I’m excited to give them a try when baby arrives!
I’ve tried prefolds, pockets, wool, fleece, and aios. I’ve figured out I’m a pocket kind of gal who uses the occasional AIO and prefold/cover combo.
I tried bummis wraps w/ generic prefolds. Prefolds were not my think. After that first attempt a girlfriend bought me 2 bum genius 4.0 and I LOVED them. Love the inserts, love stuffing instead of the prefolds. Love that they are aio. So many systems had different sizes and, organic materials vs synthetic. The4.0’s were such an easi introduction.
I have tried 2 BG systems: Flip and 4.0s. Love them both for different reasons/situations. Also have tried other AIOs and prefolds, so 4 types total. It’s a maze to get it figured out!
We just started but have some pockets, an elemental, a few free times, as well as some covers and inserts and pre folds.
I have tried Bumgenius 4.0s (pockets) and Freetmes (aio). I love them both!
Tried prefolds/covers, pockets, hybrids, and AIO. Low that I can have different systems for different situations!
I’ve tried MANY different styles (AIO, AI2, Fitted & Prefolds w/a cover and Pockets).
I thnk that’s pretty much every style available..
Have never tried cloth diapers but I am waiting on my shipment to arrive tomorrow (purchased Econobums)…SO EXCITED to get started!!!! Would love to have others to add to my get my collection started!
Love our bumgenius 4.0! We also have a couple of flip diapers. Would like to try aio diapers though.
I haven’t had the chance to try any yet, so I’m very excited for this giveaway!
Two – BumGenius Pockets and Flips. I love them both!
I have tried Econobum, bumGenius 4.0 snaps, and Flips hook&loop and snaps (all OS) both with BG inserts and indian prefolds. My LO is still very tiny and it seems like right now econobum fits her best, though the simplicity of BGs and hook&loop Flips is preferable. Hoping to one day try my Flips with Flips inserts! 🙂
Usually use flips with prefolds but have also tried greenbee pockets, thirsties, and bum genious
I have tried Econobum, Thirsties, Bumgenius, Flip, Dappi so that’s 5!
I’ve tried pretty much everything except wool
I have treid so many and loved lots for different reasons / occasions
We have tried BumGenius 4.0, Flip, and Ecnobum! Flip is our favorite!
I’ve tried pockets and fitteds with covers so far. I haven’t had much luck with prefolds. I’ve tired G-Diapers and disliked them.
We have tried 3. Bum Genius, Flips and Charlie Banana’s. Our favorites are the Bum Genius and Flips!
We’ve used prefolds, thirsties, gdiapers, flips with stay dry and organic inserts. Now we exclusively use flips with organic inserts in the day and flips with prefolds and gauze diapers at night. I’m super glad flip has a training pant as well!
We have used only 4.0s with snaps on our 3.5 month old and we are loving them! I would love the option to try something new!
we are just now thinking of switching to cloth diapers because we go threw so many disposables, i don’t want to invest in a lot though if i don’t like them. we have 1 in diapers still and are planning number 2
With my first I used snappi’d prefolds with covers, fitteds and tried a few pockets. This time around I started with pinned flats and covers, but as she grows I think I’ll try pockets again…
I have tried prefolds with covers and pocket diapers so far.
I have tried prefolds/covers, pockets, aio’s, and fitteds. I like them each for a different stage and baby shape though.
I have only used pre-folds with the econobum cover. I would love to try something else!
So far (my daughter is only four months old, today actually!) I have only tried Bumgenious 4.0’s but I LOVE them! My entire “stash” is all 4.0’s. I’m almost scared to try something new because I don’t know if I’ll love it as much!
Haven’t gotten to try them yet since my baby is due in December, but we have Flip and BG pockets and I can’t wait to try them.
I’ve tried prefolds and fitteds with covers, a pocket diaper, and AI2s. I would love to try some AIOs for babysitters and some other brands of pockets!
Tried BGs 3.0 , flips, Econobum, wool diaper covers, bummis prefolds, bummis covers, grow baby (dislike). I really like my covers to have snaps.
I’ve been cloth diapering for almost 4 years, and I only have BG 3.0’s & 4.0’s. Love them at much!
I have several cloth diapering systems, though I’ve yet to try any because our little hubby’s isn’t due until early October. Can’t wait to try them out though. I have flip covers, but no bumgenius yet or econobums. Would love to try those too just so that when our little one arrives we have options to see what works 🙂
I have tried an AIO, covers and pockets. We love flips and bg 4.0’s!
I own all 3 systems and love them all. I’m a pocket diaper gal myself, so I own more 4.0s than the others. I’m not a fan of the exposed PUL in the back of the Freetimes or Elementals, since it leaves deep, angry red marks on my daughter’s back…. Another reason I love the 4.0s. Also, I like to be able to adjust the absorbency AND I like that I don’t have to use microfiber in the 4.0s…. Which I don’t 🙂 I use bamboo or hemp… Or just a pad folded receiving blanket!
We’re trying Flip right now and it’s working great. I am curious about other systems though.
We have only used the freetimes so far. We just started cloth diapering 3 days ago and I love it! I only wish I hadn’t waited until my 5th child was almost 11 months old!
I’ve only tried Pockets, AIOs, and AI2s
I’ve got econobums, a couple diff. Kinds of prefolds, an assortment of diff. brands of pockets and inserts. I love them all havent had any issues with any of them. Would love to try flips and don’t have any hemp yet 🙂
We have tried pockets, AIO, AI2, hybrid, fitteds, and prefolds!
I’ve used mainly 4.0 withy first with some free times at the end of her wearing diapers. I had some prefolds but never felt like I got good at using them. With my second due in October I hope to try elementals and get better with prefolds.
So many! I like to experiment. I’ve tried several brands (bumGenius is still a favorite I keep coming back to!) and every method/style but wool.
We’ve tried pocket, AIO, AI2. I like the AI2 when my son was younger and now AIO
We’ve tried pocket, AIO, AI2. I live our AI2 for when he was younger and now AIO
we have a bunch of bg4.0, flips, econobum, and one each of kawaii, softbums, zookies, and thirsties. trying to make the switch to natural fiber inserts though.
After researching and not wanting to spend a lot trying different systems I bought bumGenius 4.0s. I’ve been using them for about 17 months and don’t have a reason to try anything else. I am trying out different insert for overnight because 14 hours is a lot for any diaper to hold up. Love my bumGenius 4.0s.
We’ve tried 5 different systems. Flips, Pockets, Prefolds w/cover, fitteds with cover, BestBottoms. Flips are my favorite for daytime, and double-stuffed pocket for overnight.
We have tried BG4.0s, Flip covers with prefolds, BG FreeTimes and sized and one size Fuzzibunz. The fuzzibunz have been sold and we are a dedicated cottonbabies family! The quality and fit of all CB products is far superior!
I’m due on August 5, so I haven’t used them yet, but we’re planning to stick mostly with prefolds and covers. I have a few different brands: Thirsties, Flip, & Econobums. Some friends also gave us some pocket diapers, so we’ll give those a test run as well.
I’m still super new to the cloth diapering world, but I’ve been studying! I feel like I’m back in school for this! 😉
I’ve gathered a few BG 4.0s, a couple of Flips, and I just received my indian prefolds in the mail yesterday from CottonBabies! I have a few newborn Grovia AIOs as well. I think the only thing I’m a bit nervous for is the newborn stage of cloth diapering. I’m due next month!
Before landing on Flips, we tried gDiapers, Thirsties, and JustSimplyBaby pockets. These latter three brands were so impractical for us, that we had pretty much defaulted completely to disposables, until we tried Flips. Now we’re down to disposable only overnight (to avoid rashes), but hope to have a solution to that, too, soon 🙂
Oh, and we use tea towels (yay, Target) as flats/inserts. We love them!
Our stash consists of enough diapers for two days of prefolds and covers and one day of pockets. 14 weeks in and I still don’t know which I like better…
thirsties, knickernappies, bumgenius, totsbots, happy heiney, simplex… my favorite is the bumgenius 4.0s of course!
So far I’ve bought Flip Covers, Thisties Covers and BumGenius 4.0. Haven’t actually used them yet, I’m still pregnant! 🙂
I’ve tried BG and Charlie Banana. Just purchased a couple flips to try as well.
I’ve traied BG, and flip diapers
2… All in 2s & Pockets
We have a 6 week old and shes our first so we are experimenting! We have been doing mostly GDiapers and just hunting for flips now. Our BG AIO is great so looking forward to trying the flips!
We have tried (and love) Flip diapers and bumgenius with our first daughter. We have 6 bumgenius 4.0 diapers, 11 Flip covers, 12 Flip stay-dry inserts, and 6 organic overnight inserts. We also bought 3 packs of disposable Flip inserts, which lasted a long time.
The organic inserts are the ONLY diapers that don’t leak at night. My daughter loves to drink water, and she sleeps 12 hours on a typical night. Getting her up in the morning with no leaks and a dry bottom is the best. The bumgenius diapers are perfect for the diaper bag and when she is in the nursery, because they are all one piece.
People notice how adorable her diapers are, and I’m always happy to tell them how easy it is and how much money we have saved, not to mention feeling better about our impact on landfills. I’m now pregnant with #2, and I cant wait to get a few more of both when the new little one comes along!
We have two BG babies in our house. We love it all and they work so well for our family. We just need to add a pair of Irwin’s to the mix! 😉
I use Flip covers with inserts, as well as some pockets.
we use mainly prefolds and covers but I have tried a few and like them all for different reasons but the flip system is our favorite so far
We are expecting our first baby in November! I just received our first Flip in the mail this week and really like it! Of course we haven’t got to actually try it out, so were still kind of up in the air as to wether we want to buy all Flips. We are anxious to try many out this fall!!
I’m still currently expecting the birth of my first child. I have decided to cloth diaper, and after careful research and consideration, I decided that the hybrid system is the most practical one for a working mother like me. I have placed my first order of hybrid cloth diaper, along with the disposable/flushable liners. I wouldn’t mind trying other type such as all-in-one for newborn, I’ll probably just add the disposable/flushable liners on top of it cause it’s so thin and won’t add bulk.
3 i believe
We have tried gdiapers flips with Velcro freetimes with Velcro and snaps and some other random one a friend have us to try. We learned the hard way that lite ones eventually learn how to unhook Velcro so now we buy everything with snaps if possible!
We have tried g diapers, flips with velcro, freetimes with velcro, and free times with snaps- we learned the hard way that little ones can eventually figure out how to undo Velcro so now everything we get has to have snaps if possible!
We are new to cloth, as our twins are only 2 weeks 3 days old. So far we’ve tried 2 systems: prefolds with covers and the BumGenius NB AIOs.
We LOVE our FLIPS, and use prefolds, have tried gcloth inserts and like them too, but will be trying some Flip stay drys soon!
We’ve tried everything but flats. I love our A I2s best though.
We use prefolds and covers, AIOs, and a few pockets. With our 6 week old, the prefolds win!
I am not due with my first one until November 17, so technically I haven’t tried any 🙂 But, I have started to purchase diapers so I can get a nice pile going before baby comes. I have bought BumGenius, the pocket style and the all in one. I am excited to see how it all works!
We’ve tried everything from China cheapies and the more expensive brands. BG are my absolute favorites!!! Best diapering system E.V.E.R!!!!! We use the 4.0s, elementals, freetimes and flips. I can’t decide which I like better!
I’ve used mainly pockets, a couple AI2 and 1 hybrid style. Really want to try an AIO
We’ve done pockets, all in ones, prefolds and covers… A little bit of everything!
I think I’ve ;literally tried everything out there except wool!
I tried prefolds and covers while LO was a newborn. I tried quite a few brands of pockets, however, I sold most of them off except the 4.0s. I have a few AIOs. Mostly we like and use 4.0. I would love to try the BGE.
We have tried prefolds and fitteds with covers, pockets, and all in two’s. Flip cover is my favorite with a prefold.
I have tried pockets, prefolds/covers, and I have one aio. Right now the prefolds are my favorite!
I have tried pockets, ai2 and Ecobum prefolds and covers.
We’ve mostly used FuzziBunz with our lo. We did prefolds for the first week or so. At the time we didn’t know how important a cover was, so in the hospital we used a sposie over as a cover! haha
But once the cord was gone we switched to the FuzziBunz Elites. We occasionally use a BumGenius as a cover with prefolds when we strip diapers or early on when we didn’t have our wash routine down.
We love the FuzziBunz, but I’m interested in trying other cloth diapers, I just never know where to start.
Also we’ve just recently started using the Joey Bunz hemp inserts as overnight doublers and doublers during the day and have really liked how they work.
Just starting out cloth diapering with Bum Genius 4.0, Freetime and Flips! Anxious to try different inserts 🙂
We have mainly tried the pocket styles but right now we are looking into trying different inserts. Our daughter seems to pee in larger amounts than our son. We are already double stuffing the diapers at 3 months.
I’ve tried Flips, BumGenius Freetime, and Econobum at first. Then I got a Thirsties cover and a Super Whisper Wrap that I try with the Flip and Econobum inserts. For the summer I purchased a couple of Charlie Banana swim diapers – we’ll see how those go!
I’ve tried hybrids, AI2s, and pockets!
I can’t even count how many I have tried. I’ve tried pockets, AIOs, and AI2s of many various brands. Not very many brands have won my heart, though, except bumgenius! One of my favorites that I love is my bumgenius 4.0! I’ve only tried Flip as a cover (I have two of them) over prefolds and fitteds and love to use that system for naps and night time! I only have one bumgenius 4.0 in my stash though and would love more! Also, I haven’t tried the bumgenius Freetime AIO yet and would love to! I have three bumgenius elementals (two old, one new) and I like those a lot, although I’m starting to think I prefer the older version because whenever I fold the insert of the new version it leaves a big ridge. But the way the soakers are attached in the new version is awesome because the seems aren’t as bulky, and don’t take as long to dry!
I think I’ve tried them all! Lol. We mostly use pockets and prefolds. I’m not a huge fan of disposable systems, but our needs rarely include the sort of situation where they may be useful.
I have tried cover with prefolds and flats, covers and fitteds, pockets, AIOs, AI2s and all different brands.
Brand new to cloth here! Baby will be here in October, but I’m already building my stash! So far I have pockets, AIOs, and a few covers. Can’t wait for LO to get here so I can try them all!
I used disposables with my first but am excited to make the jump to cloth for my second due in October.
I have used Flips, pockets, ai2, ai1, fitteds and prefolds! I like pockets and Flips the best!
pockets and aio. basically i got a stash of bumgenius when i started and never looked back, or anywhere else for that matter.
I’ve tried Elementals and pockets. Love them all!!!!
I have tried 3! Flip, econobum and bumgenius. We use a combination of all three!
We haven’t tried any yet. Trying to decide where to start!
Let’s see I’ve tried flats, prefolds, fitteds, covers {wool, fleece, and PUL}, pockets, AIOs, AI2s, and AI3s. I hope to try hybrid fitteds when we have another baby.
When the little guy is born, I’ll let you know! But friends have used many different kinds, and have liked something about them all, so they used all of them!
I have tried 3. Flips, Econobum and bunGenius. I use a combination of all of them now!
With my first, now 5, I only used pockets. With my youngest, I decided to try Flips and love them!
I’ve used the BumGenius AIO and the new stuffable (4.0 I think?)
We’ve tried two..fell in love with the Classic Elementals at first site and started using them off the bat. Was gifted a flip diaper..Immediately donated it. Couldn’t stand it. The Classic Elementals were the Cadillacs of the diapering world and to take a step back just wasn’t our thing.
We are getting ready to cloth diaper our first and have some of every type of system: flats, prefolds, AIO, AI2, pockets, hybrid fitteds, etc.
I have had three baby girls, and am on my fourth with a boy and am committed to trying cloth diapering. Not only to save landfills, and money, but for my little ones skin as well. He has yet to arrive, so I have not tried anything yet!
I am a staunch cottonbabies brand fan. I have tried everything except the econobum. My first was the 3.0 pocket diaper 5 years ago. Since then I have done flips with stay dry and disposable inserts… the 4.0… the freetime… and finally the elemental. The elemental is by far my favorite and I have converted my entire stash to elementals — minus the 6 or so 4.0s I stuff with prefolds at night. I have bought a bunch of newborn diapers to try with baby4 coming in October. My 4th cloth diapered baby. I’m DYING to try the new elementals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome giveaway!!
I’ve tried flats, prefolds, fitteds, contours, ai2s, aios, pockets, snap in ones, disposable inserts, pretty much everything but wool.
I’ve only tried prefolds and flats, but would love to try an AIO. Our stash mainly consists of flip, econobum, thirsties, a few bummis, and GMDs. New baby on the way = need more diapers please!
I’ve tried every system and more brands than I can even remember! Hahaha! Nothing beats bumGenius!
My 14 mo dd has only ever tried gdiapers 🙂 we also have one swim charlie banana diaper. I hear so much about BG’s and flips & would love to try one of them!!!!
I haven’t actually tried cloth diapering at all yet but it’s my plan as soon as I have a baby to cloth diaper!
We’ve tried pockets, AIO, AI2s, flats/covers.
We are a BG 4.0 family!!!:)
We are brand new to cloth! Our baby is due at the end of Sept. and we would like to invest in prefolds before she comes. I look forward to using Econobum and Flip!
I also have one Econobum! Its the only white diaper i own for my little girl right now. We color coordinate with our diapers!! I love summer!!!
My stash consists of Flips and BumGenius. Im Just now rebuilding my stash.Out with the Old and in with the New! I LOVE BOTH!! But i would have to maybe go with BumGenius since I only have one
OK, so don’t laugh! I didn’t start until very recently and my son is 19 months – we have tried AIOs and pockets. We purchased ours used, so we haven’t really explored much with whats newest, latest and greatest.
I need more diapers but we can’t afford right now. Pick me 🙂
I’ve tried AIOs, pockets, hybrids, and prefolds. Been wanting to try some disposable hybrid options!
3!
I’ve used pockets and AIOs in a variety of brands–nothing compares to BG 4.0s with fit and quality. I recently got my first AIO freetime and am hooked and want more!
I did prefolds/covers when my little one was a newborn, now I use mostly BG 4.0 and Freetimes, with some Kawaii, Alva and other random brands. I like to have many options!
I’ve tried BGE (original version), BG 4.0, BG sized, Alvas, Bum-Ware, and Flip. My favorites are OBGE & Flip with organic inserts. 🙂
We’re currently using BG 4.0, Charlie Banana, AMPs, Cloth Babies, and Thirsties. Of all of them Bum Genius are my prized possessions 🙂
We mainly use flips with flip inserts or prefolds. I also have a few bummis covers.
Flip, Econobum, bumGenius, Swaddlebees, Thirsties, Best Bottoms
I’ve tried Bumgenius, Babykicks, Charlie Banana, Thirsties, and Best Bottom. Best Bottom diapers work the best.
I mainly use BG 4.0…also tried Charlie Banana and gDiapers.
I just (finally) started cding last night! My lo was too small for NB diapers! So far we have only used BG NBs but can’t wait to try our freetimes and elementals.
Wow! It is amazing looking back how many I have tried…. Thirsties, Grovia, a couple AIOs from 3 different brands, Econobum, Flip and BumGenius 4.0. Now for the past 20 months I have exclusively bought Flip and BumGenius, because they have simply been the best for us and keeping with similar materials and simplified caring for them! Getting ready for Baby #3 (our second in cloth) and it is easy to know it will be CottonBabies exclusive!
We tried prefolds and 4 different types of covers for the newborn phase, plus 3 types of diapers for the older baby toddler phase. We found true love with Thirsties covers for newborns and BG 4.0s for everything after!
We tried several different types of Bumgenius, Flip, Econobum, and Kawaii heavy wetter before we decided to go with the Bumgenius 4.0.
I’ve tried them all!! I like a variety!
We tried prefolds first with 4 different brands/types of covers. And while I do love the prefolds with Thirsties covers for the newborn phase, we found true love with BG 4.0s! Our entire stash of older baby and toddler diapers are BGs.
I’ve tried at least four or five diaper systems. Ultimately, I liked something about each of them so I used them all!
Our twins are due to arrive in late November and I’ve stocked up on the Flip system with organic inserts. Can’t wait to use them!
I used to work in childcare, so I’ve tried them all, but we’ve only ever used BG 4.0s on our little one.
I have tried quite a few between 2 babies.
New to CD, and I currently only have BumGenius 4.0 snap closures. I love the soft feel, and vibrant colors. So far no leaks, and easy to clean up BM for my six month old son who is breastfed, and just starting to add solid foods to his diet. I have yet to CD overnight, as I am still breaking the diapers in. I am looking for a few more brands comparable to BG because of the many adorable prints I see via other brands!
I have tried BumGenius all in one and pockets, Thirsties covers with prefolds, covers with fitteds, and the G-diaper system. I’d really like to try the Flip system.
I have tried all in ones, pockets, and prefolds and fitteds with Flips (so 4 total?). We pretty much stick with pockets though!
I am a total noob with this cloth diapering. I have a son who is 2 & a daughter that is 18 months. I am so tired of constantly buying disposables and wipes that I have decided to try something more economical and natural.
I’ve tried a few systems in my time. I really like the all in ones and pockets!
i love my 4.0 for my 1.5 yr old i also use flips and prefolds. cant wait for out new bundle in sept to really use the flip covers
I’ve tried out everything! AIO ai2 pockets flats prefolds fitteds, you name it.
We tried Oh Katy first, but fell in love when we tried BG 4.0. We destashed the Oh Katy, and only use 4.0 now.
i love the cotton babies 4.0 and my flip covers!
We primarily use pockets. We’ve tried prefolds (not allowed at daycare), AIOs, and sleeves. We’ve just had the most success with Bum Genius 4.0s.
Have tried bum genius, fuzzibunz, gdiapers, kawaii, thirstiescovers, flats, bububebe fitteds and have some no name os diapers I’m waiting for my son to grow into.
I’ve tried flips with organic inserts and stay dry inserts, BG OS 3.0, Alva Baby, Kawaii and Sunbaby, as well as a WAHM or two.
I’ve tried Bum genius newborn, elementals, and 4.0.
I’ve tried AIOs, AI2s, covers/prefolds, pockets, fitteds and wool, Wool-in-2s – I had to try them all to make sure I wasn’t missing anything!!!
I’ve tried BG 4.0, Flip, Thirsties wraps, gDiapers, Mabu Baby, and some off brand from China (Not worth it!). So I guess 6! My go to diaper will always be the BG 4.0 though! They are my husband’s favorite too!
Currently I am using 8 different brands from pockets, AIO, All in twos and covers with prefolds and fitteds! My favorite is the AIO’s! 🙂 I like to try a lot of brands and if I like them I buy more of that brand or style.
We’ve tried two. Econobums and flips and love them both!!!
I have tried Flip covers with indian pre-folds, flats, flip organic over night pre-folds and rearz smitten.
My baby is yet to be born, but I have BumGenius 4.0s and Flips to try out on him. =)
We have tried flip, AIO BG and BG newborn.
We’ve tried Tots Bots Easyfit, Bum Genius Freetime, and prefolds with various covers.
We started with prefolds and covers since I didn’t want to invest a lot and not like it. Now we have branched into pockets and AIO. Even with all my choices, I still reach for my prefolds most of the time.
We have tried 4 different types of cloth diapers. Our favorite have been Fuzzibunz and BG.
I have tried at least 7 brands, and all the different systems offered by cottonbabies. I have FINALLY found my dream diaper- Bumgenius 4.0s stuffed with Flip Daytime Organic Inserts. Trim, easily washed, absorbent, fast drying, bulletproof. Thanks cottonbabies! Now, I only wish I had the choice of inserts when ordering so I don’t have all this microfiber hanging around with no purpose 🙂
Tried flips, oh katys, freetimes, but love our bumgenius 4.0!
I have flips, kissaluvs, bum genius 4, and fuzzibuns to try in about 5 days!
I’ve tried 5 different systems.
We’ve tried four different systems and we love the 4.0!
I have tried aio, pocket diapers and the flips.
No experience with any CD system. Our first little one is scheduled to arrive in September! We have gotten a few BG’s so far but no AIO’s or inserts.
We started with prefolds and covers from diaperaps. Then we moved to BG 3.0s, from there a mix of sposoeasy and BG elementals. We mainly used the BG elementals until they got worn out from diapering 3 kids at once. When they were too worn to use, I bought some second hand BG 4.0s. My favorite by far is the elemental!!!
We tried 6 before we found our bumGenius 4.0s!
We have tried Thirsties, Flip, Econobum, bumgenius 4.0, bumgenius elemental, grovia, GMD prefolds and fitteds, and some WAHM fitteds. GMD prefolds and Flip covers are our big favorites for daytime, elementals are great when away from the house, and fitteds with Flips work for us overnight.
We have tried 6 different brands of diaper and 4 different styles.
We’ve used 4 types of covers, Econobum, Flips, Fuzzibunz, and wool. We use mostly prefolds and flats with some inserts and disposable Flip inserts for trips.
We have been BumGenius supporters for over 5 years through 2 children. I like the all in ones with the snaps.
I have tried 3, prefolds and covers, cheap chinese pocket diapers, and one expensive pocket diaper from etsy. I prefer the prefolds (econobum), but my husband likes the pocket diapers because the snappi’s always bite him while trying to get it on the baby.
I have “tried” 6 different brands/style of diapers by seeing how much water each one would hold since our baby wasn’t born yet. She’s a tiny thing now so waiting for her to get a little bigger before actually putting one on her. Out of what’s been listed we’ve only tried one of those brands. Would love to try others!!!
I use flip covers with indian prefolds that I have altered myself to work much like a gm workhorse, for the daytime and bumgenius 4.0s for the nightime. I have tried some pocket diapers with fleece lining and thirsties covers and folding prefolds a million different ways. Flips and bumgenius 4.0s are the best! Although I couldnt have done without my thirtsies covers during the newborn stage!
4 years ago I used AIO’s, pockets, tried a prefold. I’m due in Sept and would love to try Flips or Econobums this time. 🙂
None yet! Baby girl is due August 8th. We have two kinds to start with.
I have tried 5! Pockets, AIO, AI2 and fitteds w/ covers and sposies (yuck)!
I will be trying out 3. Baby isn’t here yet, but I’ve got BumGenius 4.0, Flips and Thirsties + prefolds waiting on him. 🙂
I’ve only tried 3. Pockets, prefolds, and flats.
We have tried 3.
Fitteds, 3 in ones, 2 in ones, all in ones…many different kinds. BG is my favorite!
We have used bum genius newborns. now exploring our options I have 3 different types . Can’t wait to add to the stash!!!!
So far, 4 different systems, still trying to find that right one!
I think i have tried about a dozen different systems but Bumgenius and Flip are by far the best! Could definitely use some more!
I’ve tried 4. BumGenius 4.0, Charlie Banana, Swaddlebees and Thirsties AIO. I prefer the bumGenius.
Way too many to count!
None yet as baby boy is due in a month but can’t wait to try a variety!
we’ve tried 6!
I’ve tried two and fell in love with Flips! Never had a single leak!
