Tuesday Giveaway: Cloth diapers for any budget!
October 23, 2012 4:30 pm | by

Considering cloth diapers? Want to give it a try, but don’t want to invest hundreds to see if it will work for your family? We have a solution for you! Econobum cloth diapers were specifically designed to fit any budget and to diaper from birth through potty training for as little as $100.

Maybe you don’t want to invest the full $100 to start. If you are currently using disposables and considering cloth diapers, may I suggest the Econobum Trial Pack? Each trial pack includes a one-size cover and three inserts that can be adjusted to fit most babies from 8 to 35 lbs. The trial pack is just $11.95, which means it’s easy to substitute one trial pack for a pack of disposable diapers. The beauty of Econobum is that you can wash and reuse them. An $11.99 pack of brand name disposable size 3 diapers has about 36 diapers in the package. That means that if you use these three Econobum inserts each day, after just 12 days, you’ll break even and start saving money! If you like it, just pick up a new trial pack each time you’d buy disposables until you have enough covers and inserts to cloth diaper full time.

Econobum Trial Packs also make a great gift for a friend interested in cloth diapering. Give them at a baby shower and watch the conversations that follow! If you already cloth diaper, Econobum Trial Packs make a great emergency back up diaper to keep in the car. They come in handy if you end up staying out longer than anticipated and use all the diapers in your diaper bag.

Want to try it for yourself? This week’s prize pack includes TWO Econobum Trial Packs, a pack of bumGenius Flannel Wipes and a bottle of bumGenius Bottom Cleaner to get you started on your cloth diapering journey. To enter, just tell us what was the main reason you decided to try cloth diapers.

I switched to cloth diapers primarily to save money but also because my 3rd son had such sensitive skin that some disposables gave him a rash.

I love Econobum! My littlest is right around 10 pounds, and they are the only “one size” covers that actually fit her.

I have to admit, it was the money. Spending $20 every other week on something as mundane as diapers? No, thank you!
