Tuesday Giveaway: Spring Break Freetime
March 26, 2013 4:45 pm | by

Spring is a fantastic time of year. After spending weeks and months trapped indoors with energetic little ones, we finally get enough warmth and sunshine to spend a few minutes outdoors several days a week. It’s like a miniature vacation!

Spring break makes it even more fun! Everyone is home and we are able to enjoy fun family activities during the day, when usually some are away at school. We enjoy crafting, playing outdoors, making special snacks and meals and just hanging out together. Housework gets done, but it’s not the priority it usually is.

Spring break reminds me how precious the little moments of life are. The first sight of an open flower, the time spent snuggling before bedtime, watching how creativity flows from each of my children in a different way. If only I could find more free minutes every week!

You might think it silly, but the reason our all-in-one style cloth diaper is called the bumGenius Freetime is because it literally saves you a few moments of time. Because it’s an all-in-one style, you don’t have to stop and stuff the inserts inside a cover or pocket before you put it on your little one. Sure, a few seconds here and there aren’t much, but when you are talking 24 diapers that are being washed every other day over the course of two or three years, it does begin to add up!

Winners of this week’s giveaway will each receive a bumGenius Freetime, a pair of bumGenius BabyLegs and a Change 3 Things advocacy t-shirt. To enter, just tell us what you would do with an extra hour of free time this spring. Would you spend it outdoors? Planting new seeds for a garden? Reading a book to your little one? There is no wrong answer! As always, there are bonus entries available in the widget below.

I’d probably try a fun spring craft with my kiddos, like making a birdfeeder or something. 🙂 I love those ideas, but the extra time it takes to prepare and execute them with littles is sometimes hard to find between snacks, naps, diaper changes and other playtime activities!

If I had an extra hour, I’d spend it working on our baby girl’s nursery 🙂
