We Love to Give!
February 16, 2017 11:51 am | by

Valentine’s Day may be over, but we’re still in the spirit of celebrating love… and we love to give! Our Put On Love series does just that… It illustrates unity and support that drives the Cotton Babies community. It represents the connection we share as moms while showcasing the unique relationship that makes it all possible.

From cloth diapers and wet bags to blankets and coffee mugs, this special product line includes a variety of products to love on both mama and baby.

Here are just a few of of our favorites in the Put On Love Series.

Love Cloth Diapers. As a representation of unity and support, our Love print reminds us to share the love everywhere we go. We believe every mom is different and that every mom is a good mom. Our differences make us who we are, but we all have one thing in common: we’re all on the journey through motherhood together. With Love, we can join together to celebrate and encourage each other, creating a strong, special bond that can’t be broken. Our Love print is available in bumGenius and Flip cloth diapers.

I try to put on love every minute I can. I believe there is too much disrespect, prejudice, and negativity in this world. Making my 4 (soon to be 5!) kids feel appreciated individually; listening to the response when I ask a cashier, “How are you?”; calling a relative out of the blue.

I “put on love” by reminding myself that I’m not perfect , by giving myself some grace as a new momma, and by always trying my hardest to be the best mom I can be.

I “put on love” everyday for my daycare kiddos; everyone deserves a place of kindness, peace, warmth, and acceptance. Where someone hugs you, smiles at you, sings, plays, etc. I vowed that my home would be that for the children within my reach and I do my best to follow through <3

I put on love when I get up after I put our boys to sleep to finish the kitchen chores. My husband usually finishes the dishes but loves when I beat him to it.

I have plenty of opportunities to put on love as a stay at home mama of three littles. Today we had a special lunch date with daddy and made his favorite foods.

I think we have to ‘put on love’ often when we are taking care of our kids. Somedays it is tough and only God can help us be as loving as we should.

We put on love every chance we get! It’s far easier to be negative than positive, so we try to encourage our girls to be in charge of themselves, always striving to look on the sunny side. By staying positive, supportive, and accepting to everyone you build your own community, just like Cotton Babies!

I put on love every night when I put cloth diapers on my son. My oldest only wears cloth overnight as he is potty trained during the day. Every night as I put on his cloth he looks up at me and says I love my fluffy bottom mama! It’s so sweet. My youngest is still in cloth all day and doesn’t get as excited as my oldest to feel the cloth love.

I recently spent a week in the hospital with my newest baby due to a triple viral infection that included RSV. I made sure to have dinner in the cafeteria and/or FaceTime my 3 year old every night while I spent the whole week sleep deprived and pumping multiple times a day to keep up my supply since my baby wasn’t eating well. It was stressful but I did what I had to for both of my children.

I’ve been very lucky to have had someone show me love. I try to pay it back every day that I can whether it’s something as small as holding open a door or paying something forward. One memory of me putting on love that stands out in my mind would be when my children and I were in the store in the cookie aisle. This little old woman came up to me and started chatting how she was looking for a specific shortbread cookie. I stood with her and chatted and helped her find her cookies. She talked with my children and said nice things and we went on with our day. It made me feel great to both help her as well
As show my children to slow down sometimes and just enjoy helping others.

I put on love more often now than ever before. In an uncertain America, at a time when so many groups of beautiful people are being openly discriminated against, I am choosing to lead by example by finding unity in our nation’s diversity. I put on love this summer during gay pride weekend, and my sweet baby looked incredible showing off all the colors of the rainbow.
