Announcing the NEW bumGenius Freetime!
September 13, 2011 12:37 pm | by

Maximize your freetime with the NEW, all-in-one, one-size cloth diaper from bumGenius. Two semi-attached stay dry inserts inside allow for adjustable absorbency. Diaper your baby in one easy step!

  • 3×3 snap down design* adjusts the sizing to fit small, medium and large sizes (approximately 8-35+ pounds).
  • Trim, snug and comfortable stretchy tabs* provide a custom fit.
  • One step cloth diaper – no stuffing!
  • Two rows of snaps ensure a trim, bumGenius fit every time!
  • Gentle leg elastic contains the mess!
  • Semi-attached inserts dry faster and allow for customized absorbency where your child needs it most.

Cloth diapering made even easier!

bumGenius Freetime All-In-One One-Size Cloth Diapers feature our patent pending butterfly closure system to provide a comfortable, trim fit. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables. Our “no-stuff” system with semi-attached inserts is an ideal solution for families with a child in day-care or family members resistant to cloth diapers! Using the snaps on the front of the diaper, adjust the size if needed, put the diaper on your baby, wash, dry and re-use. No extra steps. No stuffing. No cover required. Our one-size diapers are designed to fit most babies weighing between 8 and 35 pounds.

The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler. Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby’s skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keeps the yuk in and help to keep red marks away.

Care Instructions are the same as the bumGenius 4.0 cloth diapers you know and love:

  • Fasten hook tabs to laundry tabs on slot cover.
  • Pre-wash cold. Wash hot (100F/40C) with bumGenius detergent.
  • Extra rinse. Line Dry.
  • No laundry additives. No fabric softeners.
  • Use 1/4 cup or 60 mL bleach in the hot wash once per month.
You can pre-order your bumGenius Freetime cloth diapers here for $19.95 each. Quantity discounts are available. bumGenius Freetime cloth diapers will begin shipping in December 2011.

Is the pul on these different than that of the elemental? Why is it that the elemental can be dried in the dryer and these can not?

I agree that this design is all that’s missing from the Elementals! With the adjustable flaps like this they’d be perfect…

Baby Gifts are mainly those which require a bit of extra time and work done by the gift giver. You can buy a gift from a store and then add a few items in it to make it personalized or you can make a gift all by yourself. No other gift than a personalized one can make the parents of a new born baby happier. That is because a personalized gift expresses your deepest love and affection for the baby and the family.

I’m confused as to what the advantage of these is compared to the flip system? I just don’t see the advantage.

There are a few differences between this and the Elemental. The bumGenius Elemental is a one-size, all-in-one with organic inserts that are fully sewn in (attached at both the front and back of the diapers).

The bumGenius Freetime is a one-size, all-in-one cloth diaper with stay dry inserts that are semi-attached. Each insert is attached at one side of the cloth diaper (one attached at the front of the diaper, one attached at the back of the diaper). The Freetime also has a layer of microfiber sewn into the cover. Together there are five layers of microfiber in this stay-dry, all-in-one style cloth diaper.

I’m excited about these. They will probably become my “Daddy Diapers”, for when I’m out and Daddy’s home alone with the babes.

What is the difference between these and the Elemental AIO? (I know others have asked, but I’m interested to know as well!)

Can you please tell me what the difference is between this new “Freetime” all-in-one and the Elemental all-in-one? Is this one not organic and the other one is?? Or is it the “two” inserts?? I’m confused and can’t find the answer to my question in either of the descriptions! It’s about $5 less than the Elementals and I would like to know why. Thanks!! 🙂

I’m excited about these, but I’d love to see the same design in the Elementals!
