Genius Harper

This week for Truly Genius Tuesday, we’re talking about a Genius Series diaper print that has definitely been an “HTF” (hard to find) cloth diaper: the elusive genius Harper. Cotton Babies designed this Genius Series print in partnership with one of our bumGenius retailers, Abby’s Lane, for an exclusive release in November 2014. About a year ago, we moved cloth diaper production to our headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. During the move, we discovered a very small amount of leftover Harper fabric. The Genius Series Harper print was featured in  Cotton Babies Mob-famous photo Jennifer Labit posted: a pallet of remnant material. We had

The dogs of PAWsome

Danny is the graphic artist behind the very first print from our Doodles Collection, PAWsome, featuring hand-drawn doodles of fun, stylish, playful pups. The Doodles Collection is available through our limited edition diaper subscription. Read on to learn a little bit more about the inspiration behind this spunky print. Meet the Dogs Behind the Diaper I am a dog person. Combined, my wife and I had three dogs (I had one, she had two). They were our first babies… we even included them in our wedding pictures. Each dog in the Cloth Diaper Collectors Club’s first print, PAWsome, was inspired by my dogs

Genius Storytellers
May 30, 2017 4:11 pm | by

The Genius Series started with Albert and Lovelace, but I think it’s fair to say Jules and Carroll put it on the map. Our limited edition Genius Series prints have been inspired by well-known geniuses. From adventurers to movie stars, each person has used their talents to leave an inspirational mark on the world. Not only did these genius storytellers make their mark in the literary world, but the cloth diaper world too. When our designer was working on these two prints we knew they were cute, but we did not realize the true love they would inspire in the

Love is Better

Love is better

Okay, okay! We realize Love is technically NOT part of the Genius Series… It does not say “I’m a genius” in the design like our other Genius Series diapers, but it does say “love my cloth diapers,” and what’s not genius about LOVE! When we started Truly Genius Tuesday, we said sometimes we’ll get to share a little more behind the scenes info about our cloth diaper prints, so that is what we’re going to share today. Mobber became Love We released Love on September 16, 2015, but the story of Love, its design and its name started a couple years

It’s Truly Genius Tuesday, and today we’re going under the sea with Marie. Marie Tharp was an American geologist and oceanographic cartographer who helped create the first and most famous scientific map of the entire ocean floor in 1977. Map-making ran in the family Marie was born in Michigan. Her mother was a German and Latin teacher, and her father worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture making soil classification maps.
