I love the idea of giving cloth diapers as shower gifts!
We’re expecting our first in less than seven weeks, crazy how time flies. My brother and sister-in-law have gotten my husband and I hooked on the idea of cloth diapering. The fancy colors, fun designs, and ease of diaper changing caught my attention, and the cost-savings and eco-friendliness caught my husbands! With a summer baby on the way, I plan to let it hang out and show off her fabulous style, since her mother has none! After that, let the money (savings) talk 🙂 So excited for this journey! (Nervous, of course, too, but not about the diapers!)
I do “pay it forwards” often and I lend out my newborn stash to friends that are considering cloth diapering.
I plan to give cloth diapers as shower gifts. My cousin has expressed interest in using cloth, so I want to give her a sprayer, spray pal and some diapers. I would have loved that gift for my shower!!!
I LOVE telling my friends, family, and even strangers how easy it truly is! I also share with them the many, many different styles/types of cloth diapers there are out there! There is a fit for every child!!
First I show people how adorable cloth diapers are. Then, I explain the cost efficiency and how eco-friendly they are.
I tell people all the time how adorable they are and cost effective vs disposables. I also have to mention it’s way better for the environment too!!

im new to CDing but. I’ve already told friends how excited I am about the cute diapers and how much money I will save!
I have got many compliments on the cute colors of our cloth diapers. It opens the door for discussion and I love teaching others about all the positives of cloth diapering.
I have posted so many pictures of my stash. I do not know how people wouldn’t want to cloth diaper with how cute they are! I have also been telling everyone I know that I am cding with lo 2.0. I have been also telling people stats. Yes, I may pay 15 dollars for a diaper, but I buy 24 of those diapers and bam I am done. I will spend 360 bucks. You will spend that much using sposies in 3 months. Worried about the extea work? It’s one more load of laundry every other day. I can honestly say no matter how sleep deprived I was with lo 1.0, I never had a problem putting laundry in the washer. Putting it up is a different story. I have had this conversation a few times. Can you tell? haha
Always make sure the cute fluff is showing and people ask me about it! 🙂
I have mostly friends who are going to start trying for kids in a year or two. I change the diapers right around them and talk about them. I always tell them to at least buy a few cloth diapers to see if they like them, even if they are planning to do sposies.
I have let them know of all the savings and even let them try them out!
I’m excited to show all my friends how awesome they are!
Tell friends how much money you can save, and how cute they are!!
Pun intended, the proof is in the pudding! I couldn’t resist 🙂 Using cloth is one step that encouraging the use of cloth. When the negative stigma is shattered by a healthy and happy baby (and Mama), everybody benefits!

I talk about how easy they are and how much money I save.
I love fluffy bums. I tell others about how it takes 1 disposable diaper 500 years to decompose. I tell them about how much money you can save. I tell him how my baby doesn’t get rashes or reactions to the diapers. I show them how simple cloth is nowadays. And then I make them into cloth diapering addicts. lol. So evil but so good.
We attended the Great Cloth Diaper Change today, to raise awareness of how easy (and great for your wallet, your baby’s health and the environment) it is. I’ve also offered my Newborn Stash of cloth diapers (and advice /support) to a friend who is expecting that is thinking about cloth diaper but was a bit unsure about the upfront costs.
I tell people about how much money we save and show them all the cute prints!
I encourage other mommas to use cloth diapers but telling then how much money I’ve saved and by showing them how easy the AIOS really are!!
I tell friends how much money I save and show them all the cute prints you can get for diapers.
By showing off the cute fluff and talking them up. Who can resist the cute fluff?
I’d argue it is better for baby’s skin, and a great way to save money and the environment
I have encouraged a fellow breastfeeding mom to give cloth a try an so far she is doing OK with it. She was happy to meet someone who is now on round two of cloth diapers!!!
I keep that cute fluffy bum showing as much as possible! Nothing kicks offa conversation about cloth like a cute print OTB!
I will continue to be an advocate for cloth & help answe any questions a mom/dad might have. I have also and will continue to lend out diapers for prospective CDers to try!
I let people know how easy it is, how much it saves money, and the environmental effect using cloth vs disposables
I have actually gotten 3 people interested in cloth and plan to get more into it. It is a great subject to talk about with new friends. Honestly just posting cute bum shots of my little guy in cloth ok FB tweaks interest from many. It’s hard to resist a baby with a cute bum! I encourage cloth because it’s so much cheaper and it’s so easy to get into a routine with cloth. 🙂
I used them with 6 babies so it can’t be that hard!
Tell them it’s cheaper, and how easy it is, and so much better for baby.
I would show off my newborns cute fluff and talk about the many advantages to using cloth!
I donated diapers to a friend in need.
I love my cloth diapers!! I encourage every mom or mom to be to try it! I ran into a lady at a babies r us looking for shower gifts and she was asking which disposables were for newborns and I handed her a newborn sassy. I said, “these are amazing and she can wash and reuse it” 🙂 she bought 3 🙂 🙂
I offer to show them what I do and how easy it is!
It’s all about cost effectiveness, especially for those who cannot afford how expensive disposables have become.
I think people don’t understand how much different modern cloth diapers are from “old fashion” cloth diapering. I’m hoping to loan a few diapers from my stash to a couple expecting friends, so they can see how easy it really is. Econobums are the perfect diaper to get started with!
I give friends my old cd!
I love to show off how cute my diapers are!! And then I get to tell them how much you can save not buying diapers all the time
I have been telling a friend (due in July) at work about how surprisingly positive our cloth diaper experience has been (and how even my husband loves it!). I’ve brought in a few of our favorite diapers for her to see and feel, and offered to help her research/select some diaper styles. I plan on refering her to the cloth diaper expert and owner of a small business in our area that primarily sells cloth diapers and accessories, for her registry!
I would be sure to point out that cloth is more affordable, healthier, and better for the environment. Since I’ve never tried them myself, that’s all I can say! And they’re all reasons I plan to use them when this baby is born.
I have already converted two friends to use cloth. I work part time at a grocery store and tell lots of mommas about my cloth diapers. I love spreading the word about cloth!
I love to show off our super cute cloth diapers and talk about them as often as I can to my mom friends!
I tell people that I love them because I don’t have to clean poopy clothes because we don’t get blowouts. Also, they are cuter and I feel better knowing I’m not producing so much trash with disposables!
I’ll be showing New mommy friends how much money cloth dispersing saves and how easy it is to get started!
I talk to as many mamas about cloth as I can! I love answering questions and helping more mamas learn about their options!
I try to talk up cloth diapers to my pregnant friends before they’ve “made up their minds” about everything. I also have a few newborn diapers I loan out. I insist my washing machine really DOESN’T smell! And we’ve had great results line drying.
I would encourage and support my sisters-in-law to use them when they have babies.
They are some much easier than people think. Easy to use, good for the environment, and cute as can be!
I bemoan the scary ingredients/chemicals in disposables.
I tell people how easy and cheap on the long run it is.
I would tell them how it’s SO much easier than it looks!!
I want to try cloth diapers!
I’m bringing diapers to donate to Share the Love with me at my location of the Great Cloth Diaper Change tomorrow morning!
I have been talking with a friend due in June and I just try to share what I like about cloth diapering and even what I dont. I talk about different styles and keep it pretty informative, I don’t put bias in it, and if she wants to try it I hope I can help support her any way I can 🙂
I help mama’s in need that can’t afford diapers. If they can cloth then its alot cheaper and safer. 🙂
Besides showing off my daughter wearing her fancy colors, I try to buy up Newborn cloth diapers when on sale and include them with baby shower gifts!
We’re still building our stash but in a very short time, I caught the Bumgenious bug and will tell anyone willing to listen how much I love our change to cloth.
Leave the cute fluff uncovered and talk about how easy and cost efficient it is!
I love how cute my sweet baby looks in her fluff 🙂 We save money and she looks cute. Double win!
How much cuter they are than disposables! So much fun and the diaper is the outfit in the Summer!
I love showing my friends my cloth diapers and I tell everyone how much I love then!!
Haha. I think i get it. I’m new to cloth and love the idea of reducing waste in the environment.
I’m having trouble entrying my self in the giveaway.
They are money saving, affordable, easy to use, and so cute! They are also a great hobby and outlet for you to meet so many other wonderful Mamas!
I tell people all the time that my baby does not have blowouts in cloth!
I let them borrow if they want
We always start with encouragement and let them know they don’t have to put more effort then normal lol. Also its way cuter
I encourage anyone that has babies by showing them the cute bums! also explain to them how easy and economical it is 🙂
So glad I’m doing cloth diapers this time around. LO is due in June!
I will be letting others know that two in cloth saves you so many trash bags then if you used disposables!
If they’re interested answer questions and be supportive!
I have encouraged others to use cloth because it is healthier on the bum and saves so much money!
I belong to several local mom’s groups and I always encourage other moms to try cloth diapering…who doesn’t love a fluff butt??
Show them our stash! Invite them over and show them the deference between AIO, pockets, ai2, covers, etc 🙂 hands on experience always helps convincing others to try cloth diapering!
i have several friends who are getting ready to start their families and I love to show them and talk to them about my son’s cloth diapers. I even hit up their husbands on the cost friendly aspect compared to disposables. The guys always get interested in that.
I’m bringing several friends to GCDC 2015! I also use my cloth openly and am surprised by the number of people who express interest!
I comment about how much money I don’t have to spend on disposables and how I don’t have to worry about running out of diapers while I’m sick or in the middle of the night! Plus, you can’t find disposables that look as cute as cloth diapers!!
I get friends to try cloth all the time! I usually give or loan a diaper or 2 from my stash and let them try it out!
Love my cloth! Love to win free diapers too 😉
I have given bumgenius cloth diapers to several mamas for their baby showers. ALL are cloth diapering now!
If the versatility of cloth doesn’t appeal, normally the cost saving angle works. I love to allow my son to be a “walking advertisement” in order to #MakeClothMainStream
I will share my cloth diaper Knowledge!
One of my coworkers was asking a few questions about cloth who is due in June so I gave her lots of info! Plus the cottonbabies link 🙂
I use them, and I make no secret of the fact that I do. If someone asks, I’m always more than willing to tell them why I use them, and to answer any questions about their use.
I love to point just how dang cute my littles look in fluff. If that doesn’t make you want to try cloth I don’t know what will! 😉
