A friend on FB posted pics of her BumGenius diapers drying on the line and I loved them! I started looking around her blog and read all about cloth diapers and I was hooked!
Found out about cloth diapers while on Baby Center.com, researching a totally different subject. I had never considered cd until then and it opened me up to a whole new world!

The first familiy I babysat for was cloth diaper, back in the days of prefolds and plastic pants. I was horrified as a 16 year old…then I realized I could do it. My friend used the new cloth systems with her first born about 3 years ago. I tried to incorporate them in the orphanages I work in in other countries, and now have just started my own collection for our first child we are expecting this fall! HOW EXCITING!
I had a few friends who used cloth, but I wasn’t sure it was for me. I tried hybrid diaper when my son was a newborn, but they weren’t working well and I was so overwhelmed with the challenges of breastfeeding and becoming a mom that I gave up. As he neared a year I regretted not giving cloth a better try and realized it wasn’t too late! He was cloth diapered from 1-2.5 when he was potty trained and my 9 week old daughter is a cloth baby from the get go!
I have actually been thinking about it for a while and we are just now making the switch for our two youngest kids. ~Jada Sharp
I actually found cloth myself while looking for a carrier. Then a lady on Diaperswappers became my ‘big sister’ and helped with my questions!

We first learned about cloth diapering through blogs and forums online and then we talked to a friend who uses them. It didn’t take much to realize that they were environmentally friendly, cheaper, and so much better than disposables. We hate when we have to use a disposable now.
everyone cloth ‘diapered’ or ‘nappied’ when I was a baby as disposable nappies were not widely available at that time. My Mum cannot understand why I do it, as disposable nappies were seen as a marvellous liberation from washing them for my mum’s generation. I cannot get her to use them when she has my children to stay, even though I have given her the option of putting them straight into a bucket for me to deal with. She complains they smell too much and she doesn’t want them ‘lying about’
My friend out in Oregon used them a few years ago before they were becoming popular again. I thought it was neat. Now that I am expecting in October I want to use them as well
I have several friends who cloth diaper. They have been a tremendous resource for me as I start researching it for myself with baby #2 on the way! (O:
a friend got me into it.
I didn’t know anyone using cloth when I was pregnant with my first. I was overwhelmed with information online and was thrilled to find Babyworks in Portland, OR who answered all my questions and discussed the pros and cons of the different styles and brands of cloth diapers.
I found the cloth diapering board on Babycenter 🙂

I am as everyone calls me ” the recycling queen”. I am so cautious about my dent on the environment. I worked hard to not only.purchase things that were easily recyclable but to make sure I was doing it. Got down to one bag of garbage a month…..then my son was born. My trash quadrupled and it was all diapers. I knew.I had to make a change. My friend from the U.P was using BG and I was in. Now I am a BG advocate, telling everyone. There is no downfall about them. And its sooooo easy!
I was cloth diapered as a child and wanted to find out more about it so I joined a local babywearing/cloth diapering facebook group.

I was put in cloth as a baby and it has always been a thought for when I had children. Then I had a friend that used cloth and I listened to everything she had to say about them. When I became pregnant, I did tons of research online and drove over an hour to the cutest little store http://www.rosieposiebaby.com/ to talk to the super informative staff there. Now that my baby is here, I am all about cloth diapering and tell all the moms that will listen about the wonders of cloth!
My friend who is a midwife cd’d her daughter. When I got pregnant with #1 she convinced me to try it and we’re still using cloth. Baby #3 is due any day and we got the cutest bg’s for her!
One of my best friends introduced well talked me into it and so glad she did! We aren’t full time yet but very much considering it with second baby arrives in August.
