Who could use a quick boost of energy right now? *Raises hand*
As parents, we do so much — often to the point we wear ourselves down and we’re ready to just crash. Let’s take a break from all the hustle and bustle and think about what what gives us energy. Is it a cup of coffee, a full eight hours of sleep, exercising or a healthy meal?
Now imagine if you’re a baby and ask yourself the same question: what helps you make it through the day? Milk and cuddles seems to be the winning combo.
If your little one gets going through milk, cuddles and of course cloth diapers, this giveaway is for you! Two people will win the new Energy = Milk + Cuddles zip-up hoodie along with a bumGenius diaper and wet bag in Albert.
To enter, tell us how you get your energy and motivation as a busy parent.
Eligible entries must be posted no later than midnight Eastern time, Wednesday, January 29, 2015. U.S. residents only. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to win. Winners will be drawn after the close of the contest and notified via email. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. We hereby release Facebook of any liability. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of end of giveaway. Solid colors only.

The giggles and smiles combined with a B12 supplement is how I get my energy and motivation to be a parent!
Occasionally a Starbucks Frappucino (Yum!), but most of the time, a hot shower and remembering to take my vitamin.
is nice bath in the morning and some music and im good!
I stop and take in all of the great moments! I also enjoy a few moments to myself reading a good book 🙂
I make sure to have some time set away for ME! Being able to get a massage, or read a book, keeps me happy and less stressed and overall just makes me feel better!
I’m expecting my first in April, so I honestly don’t know yet how I will keep my motivation and energy. I’m looking forward to figuring it all out though! 🙂
Not a mom yet. But loved reading everyone else’s tips.
Lemon Essential oils!! 🙂
Energy what’s energy. And my baby still hasnt arrived yet. I am such a napper though that’s how I anticipate getting energy.
caffeine today!
Exercise and a good preworkout supplement. That and the will to keep going on the worst of days hahaha
Coffee and chocolate are my go to for energy! Without it my children ages 10, 6, and 3 months would run my house.
Coffee, lots and lots of coffee.
I get my motivation by looking at my beautiful baby
Morning walks get me energized for the day. At least the first half of the day. 🙂
Coffee! But I wish I could take a nap!
I love Albert!!! <3
I really have no idea where I get any energy! I manage to go to school full-time, work-out regularly and still keep my house clean. Nap times are my lifesaver!
Coffee and snuggles from my sweet girl.
I nap when the baby naps! Once those are done with I have no idea lol.
Potatoes! On weekend mornings we make sure to have a family breakfast. Daddy makes the best breakfast potatoes that kiddo loves and we all giggle over. It’s how we fuel up to start a day of play.
I get energy by drinking coffee! lol. Coffee keeps me sane. Lots of water and proper diet. My kids keep me on my toes.
Coffee! so much coffee along with some dance worthy jams to get the energy right for the day. As a bonus, the dancing puts my baby girl in a pretty great mood too =)
I’m still breastfeeding, so I can’t get TOO much energy from caffeine, but I definitely have a cup of coffee daily. But my daughter is awesome and sleeps like 7 hours straight (I don’t sleep 7 hours, because I wake up every 45 minutes worried at why she isn’t crying because I’m INSANE)- so I’m not going all the time. But yeah, coffee & oatmeal. 🙂
I know a lot of people are saying coffee but that does not work for me even though I still drink it. I have to wake up and shower or go on a run. Those thing always get me ready for the day. 🙂
My energy comes from giggles and smiles!
I get my energy from lots of coffee and love from my children. They keep me on my toes at ages 5, 2, and 4 weeks 🙂
Coffee or a snack, and lots of praying 🙂
Deep breathing. Lots of deep breathing.
Coffee, chocolate, and snuggles on the couch!
Coffee! With a three year old, a one year old, and Baby#3 due in May… Coffee is my best friend!
On days when I’m really feeling worn, I lay down for nap time with my little ones and leave the housework for later.
Definitely coffee.
Wait..you mean..people have energy?! Boy I’m doing it wrong. 😀
My 2nd child is 2.5 & hasn’t slept through the night. wakes up at 2-4am every day for the day since he was 17 months. it’s exhausting. but seriously, I rarely have energy. sometimes if I work out it gives me a boost.
Coffee and Naps 🙂
My energy comes from coffee lol.
A nap always helps
Coffee is my go to energy boost right now. I can’t wait to get hours asleep again. That will happen right?lol
Most days I think it’s caffeine, or a long night of sleep. I’m lucky enough that my son sleeps through the night.
Lots of coffee!! If I am awake I can get anything done lol
Get as much sleep as possible (yeah right)! We just make sure we are always having fun!
The only place I can fathom I get it is from God.
Coffee, lots of coffee.
I get my energy from eating right and staying active
I want to try to do the best for my kiddo. It motivates me, good food & yoga help too 🙂
I definitely keep my energy up by trying my best to eat right and drink plenty of water! It seriously helps.
I have 3 more months to build up an energy storage before the little one arrives!
A cup or 2 of coffee and having play dates so I can talk with other moms
A healthy breakfast with coffee.
Honestly, whenever I find myself tired, I just pray for patience. Just taking that second really helps to change my perspective and keep my priorities straight. Playing with my children comes first. The laundry can wait.
Macha tea lattes
My kids motivate me to keep going, also a side of coffee always helps
I get my energy from chocolate
I think it’s my kids that keep me going. It’s not about us, anymore, but, taking care of these wee little charges. Caffeine helps, too…pretty sure I became addicted to soda and frappucinos after my first.
Walks with the little ones.
Honestly, lately it has been trying to exercise as many days a week as possible. And well, melatonin at bed time HAHAHA
I get energy/motivation from exercise and coffee. And my son’s smile.
8 hours!!!!!
Naps if I’m lucky! It’s really hard for me to get anything done without proper rest.
Coffee!! And sweet moments like watching my oldest daughter read to the younger one. 🙂
Starbucks!
Running always gives me a little bit of extra energy and motivation for parenting. If I’m just exhausted, a run can leave me refreshed (at least temporarily) and then I’m ready to take on more of the challenges of parenting.
naps and snuggles!
I make sure we get enough sleep and use energizing essential oils on me and calming on the kiddo.
dr. pepper
Coffee!!!!!
The smiles on my newborn baby, keep me going!! Also, the content look on his face after eating make the late night feedings worth it!
energy… coffee and a lot of eggs. i eat a weirdly massive number of eggs 😛
motivation… knowing that i am doing the best i can for my kids and seeing them grow and thrive
Shakeology!
A nice cup of coffee to start my day and loving from my two beautiful babies !
My son. If he’s going, I’ve got to go too so I just push through the tiredness 🙂
I get my energy from those little smiles. I mean who could say no to those 🙂 and a little caffeine never hurt
Eating healthy and napping when baby naps (when possible)! Oh, and chocolate!!!
Lot’s of coffee and knowing these stages are bot forever. They grow so fast!
I try to get enough sleep. My motivation often comes from attending a women’s Bible study at my church. Thankfully they offer child care.
I try to relax a bit during nap time, which gives me more energy for the remainder of the day
Tea, prayer, and the song lyrics “You’re going to miss this. You’re going to want this back. You’re going to wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast…” (Song by Trace Adkins)
now that my LO is a little older, huge toddler hugs, story time and the afternoon nap.
Staying hydrated, getting regular exercise, and sleeping as much as possible.
Lots of tea!
Caffeine, kisses, and cuddles. And maybe an occasional nap
Good sleep and coffee!
I get my energy from sleep, definitely! And my motivation comes from looking forward and thinking about the life I want for our little one 🙂
Baby smiles and giggles!! And lots of snacks and Starbucks coffee! But without all those baby smiles it would be so hard to have the energy some days!
Coffee in the morning & a hot shower! Without those two things I have a hard time starting my day.
I get motivation from my son! No way I couldn’t have energy looking at that sweet face!
I get a few moments of energy when I take the laundry downstairs away from the kids. It’s only a minute or two, but it’s the only peace and quiet I usually get. Coffee always helps too!
Love This!
So cute!
Coffee! Lol
Love this hoodie!
Definitely naps and sweet snuggles!
Coffee and Chocolate. 😉
I remember not very long ago desperately wishing for another babe. I have PCOS and we struggled for about 6 years to conceive. In fact the week after we got home from the hospital with our adopted baby son I found out I was pregnant. When I feel tired or maybe overwhelmed, I thank God for each of my precious children and remember those who long and ache for a sweet babe to wake them in the night! Remembering where I have been keeps me motivated to keep on keeping on!
I am not currently a parent but we are expecting our first baby in May! I get my energy from this baby bump! Would love the chance to win these amazing products for our baby girl to use once she gets here!
So much coffee and seeing my beautiful son’s smiling face every day
Having a 30 min quiet time in the morning before getting out of bed (consisting of prayer, reading the Bible, and writing in my thankfulness journal) has really helped me keep my perspective off the little annoying things of this world and instead on the big picture of things.
I drink a LOT of coffee! lol I just remember that I don’t want lazy kiddos and no matter how tired I am things need to be done. I “try” to set a good example.
Prayer, naps and sweet cuddles.
Coffee is my main go-to, but a catnap during nap time helps too!
Super cute!
I find exercises that I can do with my son–he loves it!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Coffee
Energy as a mom. Whew. I think I get mine from milk (chocolate) and cuddles too. Coffee and a supportive husband help as well.
As a busy parent, I have to just keep moving, if I sit down, I try and make sure I get up every few minutes so I dont’ get ‘stuck’ in a rut! My kids keep me hopping though so that’s usually not a problem!
My little one’s laugh keeps me going on the most exhausted of days!
I get my energy and motivation from a healthy breakfast and the faces of my sweet babies!
I keep myself energized and motivated by not overloading our schedules with too many activities, and allowing myself to take a nap when I need one. I try to keep myself happy and healthy so I can do the same for my kiddos! 🙂
I get energy and motivation from my kids! Always keeping me on my toes!
I get motivation from the feeling that I can have it all. I having a rewarding career that I love. I get up extra early (which pre-mom era was unheard of for me) to get to work early, so I can get off early. I rush home to the kids to play, make dinner, snuggle, do baths, read books, put them to bed, and then hit the gym. Im doing the best for my family and myself. My life is rewarding to me and that’s my motivation to keep going. (On the nights where the kids don’t sleep well, my motivation is coffee. Lots and lots of coffee!!!!)
With a newborn, I don’t have much time to myself, but a nice, LONG shower while daddy and baby hang out does a lot to restore my energy!
Coffee! and knowing my husband is on my parenting team with me 🙂 together we can tackle the craziness.
My son looks just like Albert Einstein. We would LOVE one of these for him!
Lots of coffee and hot chocolate, Reading a good book during nap time, and lots of love and snuggles throughout the day!
I start my morning with a cup of coffee and then rest throughout the day when I can. Sometimes I nap with baby.
What gives me energy in the morning is usually a shower. Once you step in, before the water is warm because you have kids and can’t waste a second, you’re instantly awake.
After that slightly chilly shower it’s GO, GO, GO the rest of the day. Through all the GO, GO, GO, it’s still the cuddles that keep me in gear. From cuddles in line at the grocery store to cuddles before bed at night.
I’d be lying if I didn’t say coffee wasn’t involved, though. 😉
To get my energy I try to get as much rest as I can!
I get my energy and motivation from my children. When I am feeling tired and burned out all it takes is seeing their excitement to read a new book or do do a painting to get me moving! They certainly have an abundance of energy and I have found they are able to share it 🙂
Coffee.
Energy= milk + coffee^2 😉
I drink lots and lots of coffee 😉
I get my energy from my morning cup of coffee and having three small kiddos. They keep ya going!
My sweet children give me my energy. That and my 1st cup of coffee!
I nap or rest with my baby every day
I have started to work out this year and cleaned up my eating habits, my energy levels have increased an awful lot. I hope that DS will STTN one day and I’ll have even more!
I enjoy cuddles and tickle time with my kiddos before we get out of bed…they climb in with us and we suggle, laugh and have fun. Then I nurse our baby and enjoy a coffee before taking our oldest to school
Who knows?! I wish I liked coffee! Haha! I really think my energy comes from my desire to give my baby boy the best of me and my desire to teach him and love him and help him grow and experience new and enriching things. I don’t always hit the mark and the energy isn’t always there, but I think that I keep moving forward and trying because of my desire to do all of the above things.
Exercise – energy out is energy in for me.
Would love to win this!
Every morning my lovebug and I watch our morning shows and I get my energy from mothers milk tea and lovebug smiles ♡
I get my energy from caffeine and the occasional nap with my sweet dd. My baby girl is my motivation, one look at her little chubby smiling face and I’m up for anything! 🙂
mountain dew is what saves me to take on the day with 3 boys ages 1month, 2, and 4!
I get energy through caffenine and trying to get enough sleep. I also try to exercise or go for a walk if I have time. I do feel very tired most of the time though!
I get my energy from watching my kids play together and be sweet. A little coffee helps too!
I try and wake up early and have my coffee ready.

Eating breakfast and showering in the morning. That’s all I’ve got!

Coffee!!! Coffee helps get me through the day.
I get my energy from caffeine and afternoon naps, haha!
Lots of coffee 🙂
I need coffee to keep going. I limit myself during this pregnancy but it’s definitely a requirement to keep myself going.
Im experiencing this right nowwith my newborn. It seems the little energy I can manage to get is by opening the curtains to let tge sun in, music, and food. A nap doesnt hurt either.
I get my energy from ice cold water and good fresh food. I get my motivation by watching the exploration and fascination in the world throuh my little ones eyes. And cuddles too!
Coffee. And help from the husband.
I get energy by drinking tons of water!
While I’m not a mom yet, I will be one soon (due with my first in May) and I’m super excited to see what this adventure this is going to bring!
I am not a morning person since I’ve had my son. A full 7-8 hours of sleep plus coffee in the morning helps me. If the weather cooperates, a lot of outdoor time keeps me refreshed plus helps the little guy get his energy out!
I find energy through my little ones smile and through other mom friends 😉
I get my energy through coffee…lots of coffee, followed by breakfast, usually oatmeal or yogurt.
Lots of coffee, tickle time, and snuggles. Playing with them helps, too.
I get my motivation from my toddler he is my world and I get my energy from….well I don’t know that I always the energy part mastered yet!
I get my energy and motivation through the hugs and smiles of my girl. Seeing her learn and grow is all the motivation I need. That, and coffee.
Going outside and staying active helps so much!
I get my energy from motivation to do for my son and looking forward to his snuggles after a long day.
I try to sleep when my babies sleep. I’m also energized by spending time outside so we go for walks, to the park, or to the zoo often.
Coffee, love from my family, and some upbeat music!
My daughter gives me energy because I have no other choice but giveaways do help
Well, besides the obvious coffee, and I *do* actually get sleep right now, the sound of my children’s laughter energizes me, if that sounds corny. =)
Coffee.
I usually drink 2 or 3 big cups of coffee in the morning to get going. But on mornings when I feel like lack of sleep is going to literally kill me, my 8 week old always seems to give me the biggest smile and coo at me as if to say, ‘we’ll make it, mama.’ That’s the biggest motivation of all.
Coffee! Must. Have. Caffeine.
So cute!
We live on coffee here 🙂
I get my energy by any form of caffeine!
I get my energy from a mocha coffee in the morning: a hot chocolate packet mixed into my mug of decaf coffee. I can’t have too much caffeine or I get heart palpitations, but the ~5 mg of caffeine in decaf really makes a difference!!!
Deep breaths and caffeine.
I would love this prize!
