The day you (and we) have been waiting for has finally arrived! We’re pleased to announce our third Cotton Babies retail location will open it’s doors at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning, Tuesday, November 16. You can find our West County (St. Louis) location near the intersection of Highway 141 and Clayton Roads, near Whole Foods, in the Town and Country Crossing Shopping Center. These car seats were sold on CottonBabies.com and in our St. Louis retail store. We are currently working to notify all customers who purchased the Britax Chaperone Infant Car Seat from our website. This week, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended that pediatricians screen mothers of newborns for postpartum depression. According to the AAP, “Estimated rates of depression among pregnant and postpartum women can range between 5 percent and 25 percent.” Cotton Babies currently has more than 10,000 fans on our Facebook page. If we apply these statistics, thousands of you, your sisters, your daughters or your wife could be dealing with issues of depression. Postpartum depression is a serious issue that needs to be talked about openly. As with many mental health issues, there is often a stigma attached to PPD.

The newest addition to the Cotton Babies family, a retail store in Vancouver, Washington, will open it’s doors Monday, October 18, 2010. The store, located at 106 Grand Boulevard in Vancouver, WA, will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed on Sunday.
