Every parent needs a good vacation every now and then. However, your idea of vacation and mine may differ greatly. Honestly, it’s a good day of vacation when I don’t have to cook, wash dishes or laundry and I can lounge around reading a good book for as long as I like. I’m a simple girl, with simple wishes. With a family of six, days where I don’t have to do a single chore are pretty much only in my dreams.
That’s one reason why I love the
Flip diapering system. The three different styles of inserts cover just about all the bases, including when you are traveling away from home or don’t have laundry facilities nearby. Whether it’s grandma’s house or the beach,
Flip Travel packs are a great hybrid way to reduce your environmental impact, even when you are on vacation. Even better, with Cotton Babies send a
travel pack,
disposable inserts or
bumGenius detergent samples ahead to your destination and have one less thing to pack! This has been my favorite trick for a long time, especially when heading to grandma’s house. It has allowed me to relax and spend a bit more time with my family creating memories while on vacation.
To enter today’s giveaway for your chance to win a
Flip Diapers Travel pack and a pair of coordinating
bumGenius BabyLegs, just tell us what is your perfect vacation? Is it a road trip, cruise, or just a day free from chores? Don’t forget, we have bonus entries available in the widget below.

Most likely your children will not want to wear them if they are not comfortable. Ask for samples of disposable bedwetting diapers before purchasing a whole pack.
I would love to go camping with the kids. I think that it would be a great experience for our family of 6. We have a lot of great local camping so that if it didnt go as planned it would just be a short trip home, saving us lots of stress. And it is a budget friendly trip that we could afford right now. Some times it is just fun to get away for the night. When you have 4 kids under 6 years old short vacations are best.
Camping! sleeping under the stars. Waking to percolated coffee. Sigh…i’d.settle for a trip to the library!
Sitting by the pool in Maui, doing aaaaaabsolutely nothing but soaking in the amazing weather and the ocean air. Yes please!
We just got back home from our first family vacation with our 3.5 mo. It was a very relaxing getaway and hubby cooked most of the meals and helped with laundry so i could take a break.
OMG… I am in need of a vacation! I am 7.5 months pregnant and would love to just get away from home. I love cruises so any cruise would be perfect! I just want to relax and get pampered all day and eat good food all day.
And I guess my husband can be there with me too. 🙂
several days near a beach….but with no set plans or expectations….time to do whatever we feel like when we feel like it!
A day (or two!) on a private island with just my husband.
A cruise! The most relaxing (and fun) vacation I’ve ever taken was a 5-day cruise. I’d love to try one of those family friendly cruise lines. I think we’d all have a blast!
A family friendly beach vacation sounds about like heaven! (Bringing the sitter along with us would be even better!)
A day without any chores and anyone. A whole day by myself to sleep and just enjoy the quiet of my own company. Ah
Spending time at a beach cottage in cedar key, Florida! Even though I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, I can’t think of a better place to vacation. My vacations as a child were to beaches like captiva island or long boat key for swimming and lots of great sunsets. Now that I have a two month old, I wish to share those experiences with my son.
We’ve been wanting to try a cross country train ride!!
I would love a day on the beach just doing nothing but watching my kids play
My perfect vacation is a road trip with my family. (:

A trip to Europe, sans kiddos. Would love to explore around Italy and the Vatican City. Might be on a Mediterranean cruise, I’ve heard they are amazing.
One with my husband, without the kids, just to relax and not have to worry about anything for awhile. (I love my kids, but vacation isn’t really vacation if you are chasing them down and making sure they aren’t getting into trouble all the time)
never done washables on holiday, sometimes it’s hard enough washing clothes!
At an all inclusive 5 star resort in Jamaica, with my family. No chores & somehow have our own nanny so my husband & I can go on a few dates 🙂
I’d love to rent a beach house with my entire family. 🙂
A trip to the Caribbean!
I do love road trips! The drive is so relaxing, and then it’s fun to be miles from housework no matter where our destination is!
Disney World with the family! Love it!
Any time I get to SLEEP! With a 2 month old, sleep is definitely at a premium!
Our perfect family vacation is a road trip to any our nations beautiful National Parks. We had our first baby 4 months ago and already planning our road/camping trip to Yosemite. No one wants to pack dirty inserts in/out of the campground and in the car, so the travel pack would be great!
A nice 75 degrees with a breeze and water. hawaii maybe? Anything other than the 103degrees we are dealing with now!!
The perfect vacation? It has to be the beach with my little family! My husband of 5 years and our sweet daughter Lilly (21 months) we are going to York Beach Maine in August. This will bee her first trip to a beach. I can’t wait to see her experience the ocean! Since we are staying at a bed and breakfast and don’t have laundry I was wondering what to do. Flip will be perfect!!!
a day with no schedule and no expectations…to just go where my heart leads me and be relaxed while doing it!
a day free from chores
