Cotton Babies Daily Snap – June Edition!
June 1, 2012 2:48 pm | by

Back by popular demand – Cotton Babies Daily Snap! Last month we launched the Cotton Babies Daily Snap photo challenge. Each day, we provide a word to inspire you to take more photos of everyday life. We had so much fun and enjoyed all the great photos last month, we decided to do it again! Great! So how do I play along? First, start with our list: Today is June 1, so the word of the day is “swim”. I took a photo with Instagram last weekend at the pool, so I’m going to use it for today’s photo. Your

May 29, 2012 3:05 pm | by

Summer is full of fun – swimming, road trips, vacations, park play dates, visiting guests and more. However, as I’m sure you’ve already discovered, there is no vacation from parenting. Children still have to be fed, bathed, diapered and put to sleep, no matter what your calendar says. Life is busy and even with our best intentions, it may not always be possible to cloth diaper, especially during times when you are away from home, don’t have access to laundry facilites or more. That’s why our Change 3 Things Challenge asks parents to change at least 3 cloth diapers a

Tuesday Giveaway: Classic cloth diapering with Econobum
May 1, 2012 2:08 pm | by

Sometimes the best things in life are simple. Classics that have stood the test of time and are still relevant. Econobum is just that, the classic cotton prefold and cover system, with an updated twist. Many of our customers love Econobum because the cotton prefolds are durable, easy to care for and a work horse of a cloth diaper. The modern twist is that the Econobum covers are one-size, and grow with your baby. They come in convenient snap closures, making it difficult for those Houdini toddlers to escape. At Cotton Babies, we love the classics, from cloth diapers to

Just for Fun: Cotton Babies Daily Snap
April 30, 2012 8:23 pm | by

Are you are up to your elbows in dirty diapers? Is someone is always hungry? Can you go a single day without stepping on some sharp little toy with your bare feet? At my house, this can be extremely difficult. Some days it is hard to find the beauty in the ordinary moments of life. I’ve recently been inspired by a fun little photo meme started by Fat Mum Slim, an Australian blogger. The idea is simple, each day you take a photo inspired by a word or short phrase. It doesn’t have to be fancy, it just has to

Tuesday Giveaway: bumGenius BabyLegs

April showers bring May flowers, but they also bring lots of changing temperatures. bumGenius BabyLegs are a great way to keep your diaper bag trim while planning for whatever weather the day may bring.   Put them on your little one in the morning while it’s cool or windy, pull them off as the sun shines and temperatures rise. Not just for little legs, they can also be used under a short sleeve shirt in the same manner! Incredibly versatile, they last through multiple sizes. This makes them a great wardrobe and budget saver, too! If you’ve never tried bumGenius

Tuesday Giveaway: Try it, you’ll like it!
March 13, 2012 2:58 pm | by

Last night, during our weekly Twitter chat, someone asked, “What is one thing you would tell a mama who wants to try cloth diapers?” My immediate response to a question like this is always, “Just try it!” When I first researched cloth diapers, I was completely overwhelmed at all the styles, options and the extra laundry steps. What I realized, once I gave it a whirl, was that it was that the laundry wasn’t too difficult (really only an extra wash cycle) and that the diapers aren’t as complex as I imagined. That’s probably why I just love the idea
