Genius Series Mary Pickersgill Tumbler
August 15, 2016 2:13 pm | by
Tumbler

Let me tell you why I love my Mary Pickersgill Tumbler. If there is one thing I’ve learned through my four pregnancies, it’s that proper hydration during pregnancy and breastfeeding is SO important! During early pregnancy, water intake helps increase blood volume and aids in the formation of the placenta and amniotic fluid. Throughout the first trimester, when nausea peaks, drinking water helps your body make up for any fluids lost from morning sickness, sweating, and those frequent trips to the bathroom. During the second and third trimesters, adequate hydration can help your body flush yours and Baby’s toxins, and keep

Genius Series T-shirt Review
March 20, 2016 7:18 pm | by

First things first: Why are Genius Series T-shirts only available for babies?! Sometimes, I just want to rock my favorite cloth diaper prints, too! Genius Series T-shirts are made for babies six months and up. Jackson is just starting to fit into 6-month clothing so this shirt still has some room for him to grow into, but that’s okay — he just gets to wear it longer that way! Like most T-shirts, I expected this one to shrink a bit. In actuality, it didn’t shrink much at all, which is even better when it comes to children’s clothes.  The Genius Series T-shirts match Jackson’s cloth diapers

I’m a sucker for good bath products — especially those that are natural, gentle and good for my little guy’s skin. That’s why California Baby Bubble Bath is a favorite in our house. Not only do I love the fact that a bubble wand is included in every bottle of California Baby Bubble Bath, but I love that the formula is soft, smells heavenly and lasts FOREVER! Seriously! This bubble bath is a must-have for both kids and adults.  Quality – California Baby Bubble Bath is perfect for delicate skin. It’s free of harmful chemicals and contains just the right

bumGenius Pail Liner Review
February 14, 2016 4:00 pm | by

After cloth diapering my daughter for over a year and now my 3-month-old son, I’m still learning new things! This month, I decided to change the way we store our dirty cloth diapers and try something new in between washes. Now, I will say I liked the way we were previously storing our dirty cloth diapers. However, I really like our new set up and I’m glad I switched to the bumGenius Pail Liner. My daughter was already on solids when we started using cloth diapers. So as a result, it made sense to keep our dirty diapers in the bathroom,

MilkDaze Reusable Nursing Pads Review
January 31, 2016 6:45 pm | by

Are you a breastfeeding mama who worries about leaks? Stop fretting and try MilkDaze Reusable Nursing Pads. I stocked up on many reusable and disposable nursing pads before my third baby arrived because with previous children, I constantly dealt with leaks. I hated having spots on my shirts or waking up in a puddle. With this baby, MilkDaze Reusable Nursing Pads have been a lifesaver. I didn’t use reusable nursing pads with my last two babies because I didn’t know much about reusable products. I didn’t cloth diaper either or use mama cloth at that time in my life, but I’m glad I got

Review: Aden + Anais Classic Crib Sheet
February 23, 2015 5:17 pm | by

We are HUGE fans of the aden + anais swaddle blankets and have used them for about 2 1/2 years now. I think they are one of the best purchases I made before having my little one and now I always gift them to my mama-to-be friends. When I learned that aden + anais also made crib sheets I was super excited to try them out. And of course, like the blankets, the crib sheets are just as amazing! Here’s why we love the aden + anais crib sheets and why they are a MUST for your little ones crib or toddler

Review: bumGenius 4.0 One-Size Cloth Diapers
November 23, 2014 10:43 am | by

When I started using cloth diapers several years ago, I was looking for the simplest cloth-diapering system available — the one system that would be the most husband and childcare-friendly. I knew that we’d have our hands full with a newborn and a toddler, and I really wanted cloth diapering to work for us. After a good amount of research, I had determined that an all-in-one diaper was the best choice. I stocked up on original Elementals and eventually some prefolds and covers. But for some weird reason, I stayed away from pocket diapers! I guess I didn’t think I would be

Review: bumGenius Flannel Wipes and Bottom Spray
October 9, 2014 8:13 pm | by

When I was offered the opportunity to review bumGenius Flannel Wipes and Bottom Spray, I jumped at the chance. I’ve been using cloth wipes since I started cloth diapering just over 4 years ago. Some are even from the very beginning. With a baby and a two year old currently in cloth diapers, we’re always in need of methods to improve and streamline the diaper changing process. The flannel wipes arrived and I first noticed how big and soft they are! They’re 8″ x 8″, or about the size of a baby washcloth. The Bottom Cleaner was very easy to spritz and

Review: bumGenius Laundry Detergent
September 18, 2014 8:14 pm | by

I’m a working mama of 3 kids, and I’ll admit, I often don’t do things the “easy” way. I love to cook from scratch, I clean incessantly, and I research almost every product before making a purchase. So there are times I just need something to be simple. And using cloth diapers is simple! But with it comes a whole slew of techniques on how to clean them: spraying, swishing, soaking, sunning, etc. I don’t have time for all that! I do laundry seemingly around-the-clock as it is. I just want something that works the first time; something that I don’t
