I love a good homemade, natural household cleaner. Not only because it’s safe to use around my little guy, but also because they are much more affordable than pre-made cleaners. I’ve almost completely tossed my store-bought cleaners and replaced them with ones that are safe and easy to make! With that being said, here are a few of my go-to everyday household cleaning recipes that I love to use! To make these recipes, you will need a few different products. All are natural and affordable and most you probably already have around the house! Spray Cleaning Bottles – Plastic or

It’s officially that time of the year… The leaves are changing, the air is crisp, pumpkin spice is everywhere and you can officially break-out all of the sweaters and cardigans! Fall is, hands down, my most favorite time of the year. It’s such a lovely little transition from the warm summer months into the holiday season, so I always try to soak up the amazing weather and take my little one to do some of the fun activities that come with the season! So far, we’ve already made it to our local Apple Orchard and picked more apples than we could

After having my first baby, I learned a lot of things – like what baby products worked and what I wish I would have registered for. With my second baby now on the way, I’m shopping for products that are functional, long lasting and don’t take up a ton of space. Less is more this time around! Here’s my ideal baby registry, including a few of the products I wish I would have registered for with my first! 1. Quality Newborn Sleepers – I bought so many sleepers with my first, but I failed to buy any in a newborn size. Silly, I

Planning for #2 — We’d been trying for baby #2 for around a year or so now, and as soon as we found out that we were expecting, the “OH MY GOODNESS WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY” mode kicked in. Since then, I’ve felt just about every emotion imaginable thanks to those ever-changing pregnancy hormones. It’s been almost four years since I had a baby, so I’m trying to take things slow, enjoy my time with my little guy and still prepare for our newest arrival! Here are a few things I’ve learned so far in planning for this second little

Morning sickness in my second pregnancy has been quite terrible compared to my first pregnancy. I remember experiencing it with my first, but this time around it’s been magnified. As soon as I hit the six-week mark, keeping anything down, including water, was nearly impossible. After about 10 long weeks of feeling incredibly ill, dropping weight and having no energy I’m happy to report that the morning sickness has somewhat subsided and I actually feel human again! I tried everything under the sun to combat the nausea and I must say that the Morning Wellness Spray from Earth Mama Angel Baby has

Our baby and fur baby are almost exactly three years apart. Asher came along when Melvin (the pup) was just three and it’s been an adjustment since. Melvin was pretty good when it came to getting used to Asher being around, but I can tell he isn’t always interested in playing when Asher is eager to have some fun. On occasion he will entertain Asher, but Melvin is pretty laid back and would rather be napping on the couch or hiding out somewhere. Melvin is a smaller dog, a Shih-Tzu, and his demeanor is just easy. He’s a very well-behaved

Since I had my little guy, my morning routine has really simplified and the time it takes for me to get ready has significantly reduced. In 15 minutes or less, I’m ready to walk out the door. It’s not that I let myself go, I just have become a little more comfortable with just being myself … and more health conscious of what I’m putting on my face, body and hair. After having a little one and looking back, I often cringe on the money and time I wasted on harsh beauty products that didn’t do my body a bit of

Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday — one that’s filled with lots of sweets and love! During this time of year, I always try to make a festive craft with my little one that we can display around the house and admire! This year for Valentine’s Day, we decided to make DIY Tissue Paper Hearts that look like stained glass! This is something that’s super easy to make, great for any age and adds so much color into our house. Aside from this craft being a bonding experience, it also promotes fine motor skill use and independence. Here’s how
