Throughout the week, will announce multiple clues each day on Facebook and Twitter. Monday, April 22 is Earth Day, a time to celebrate things that encourage environmental responsibility. Cloth diapers are a great way to reduce your environmental impact every day, on Earth Day and beyond! That’s why we began Change 3 Things. We hope you will join us and pledge to change (at least) three cloth diapers each day. We chose three diapers because we feel it’s an attainable goal. Even if your daycare doesn’t accept cloth diapers, you can change three cloth diapers each day. Even three cloth diapers a day can have significant impact. Are you up for the challenge?

This week is National Camping Week and to celebrate, our family went camping last weekend for the first time since we’ve become parents. I love being outdoors and since my husband and I both work in tech-related fields, it’s very difficult for us to completely disconnect and take a break as long as there is cell service available. At first, our kids seemed to be annoyed at the amount of effort required to do anything, especially the hike to the outhouse. There was a great deal
Back when Vicki was 6 months old, I started taking her to swimming lessons. I prepared weeks in advance by registering her for swimming, buying her a bathing suit, and purchasing a reusable swim diaper. I was good to go. Everything went swimmingly (pun intended) for a few months, and we greatly enjoyed our weekly swim. Then it got cold and I dropped the ball and forgot to register for the winter session. By the time we went back to swimming, Vicki needed a new bathing suitand she had grown out of her swim diaper. As I was pressed for
One of the many reasons that parents may choose to cloth diaper their baby is to reduce waste and help the environment. We know that with each cloth diaper you change instead of a disposable, you prevent landfill waste, but exactly how much is saved every day from local landfills? Last year, we introduced the Change 3 Things challenge. We asked parents and caregivers to change at least 3 cloth diapers a day instead of disposables. We set up a Facebook page to track the progress and even have a form available on the website so you can report exactly
Can you feel the love? April 16 marks the beginning of Real Diaper Week. We are excited to join with other manufacturers, retailers, and most importantly parents all over the globe to bring attention to cloth diapering and its wonderful benefits. We know many of you started cloth diapering with intention of reducing landfill waste and the long term cost savings, and now your love for these colorful nappies could rival Carrie Bradshaw’s Manolo Blahnik addiction but whatever reason your family has chosen cloth diapers over disposables it amounts to so much good in the long run. Real Diaper Week
